This year's Storage Awards (the Storries X) took place at The Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden and was for many our best awards yet. With 430 of the industry's finest in attendance at the home of the Storries, once again the readers of Storage Magazine rewarded outstanding products, services and people.The evening kicked off with the traditional Champagne reception in the grandest of arenas, dinner followed and the audience were entertained by Comedian and Compère Sean Collins who went straight into his standup routine. Cricket legend Chris Cowdrey presented each award with Sean and both were kind enough to stick around and have photos with revelers afterwards. As soon as the awards were finished, the evening turned into the single largest networking event seen by the storage industry, with old friends mingling and new friendships formed.

AUDITING THE RICH: President Kenyatta asks KRA to nail wealthy tax evaders

President Uhuru Kenyatta has directed the Kenya Revenue Authority to audit wealthy individuals especially those whose lifestyles do not reflect  the taxes they pay to reign on tax evaders. Speaking during the  distinguished tax payers' awards ceremony, the president asked the taxman  to leverage on technology and audit its staff manning key positions to  ensure everyone pays tax.
