Buy my book today! http://bit.ly/bestbrandingbook Contact me: http://www.edwindearborn.com/contact/ Connect with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/edwindearborn/ What are your brand’s “basic physical and organizational infrastructure” and necessary “services and facilities” so that it can function and be economically promising? This article is by no means an attempt to define branding or its importance in business and marketing. This article is to point out that without a sound understanding of the importance of an infrastructure for your brand management strategy, and what that all entails, you could fail without ever really knowing why. To succeed in branding, you have to support that brand management strategy with services, staff training and a host of many other things. Here is a basic checklist of what your branding infrastructure should contain. You may want to copy it and even add to and adapt this for your own needs. Sound market & keyword research Mission statement, well publicized A written marketing and PR strategy A contextual content strategy Social media and content policies Well-developed marketing and PR budget Set marketing & sales objectives and quotas Corporate ethics policy A unique selling proposition Distinctive logo, colors and packaging Uniforms Company training manuals & courses Customer support staff Company website & blog Appropriate branded social channels An organizational chart A CMO, Director of Marketing or someone similar Marketing staff (designers, writers, bloggers, A/V people, etc.) Strong relations with KOL’s, marketing partners, strategic relationships & affiliates Internal communications system and schedules While there is much more that could be added, this is to point out that your brand management strategy is much more successful, sustainable and profitable with supported with a well-built and tightly organized digital infrastructure http://www.edwindearborn.com/brand-ma... Training Luxury Retail: Stores, Customers, Companies and Store Managers

05:01
Working in Luxury today means understanding the dynamics of customer expectations that might be completely different from the ones observed from an office desk. Customers in luxury are expecting more: more service, highly educated sales assistants, interaction in different languages. On the other side, stores need more support than in the past. More than ever, selling luxury is an art. Therefore, companies investment should not only be done in hiring new and more educated staff, but also in supporting their staff growth inside the organisations. The store management requires understanding of management dynamics (soft skills), ability to lead people and understanding of the retail environment. At the end the store is the terminal of most of the strategies of the company and the sales associate is the pure ambassador of the brand. "TRAINING LUXURY" is specialized in training programs aimed to achieve excellent customer experience and business development. For us " Training Luxury" means to prepare people in the retail and service areas to exceed customer expectations, both external and internal. Leadership and Management Training, Luxury Sales Training and Retail Management. Coaching and organizational consulting at interantional level. www.trainingluxury.com

HOW TO APPLY AT A HIGH END RETAIL STORE

10:11
I'm trying to get a new job so I'd thought I'd share some of my very helpful advice so that when you apply for these types of stores, you do it the right way. BUT if you make a mistake, it's okay, because you'll learn! The video seems long, but half of it is me talking and the other half is the vlog of me applying to Miu Miu (again) Don't forget to give this video a thumbs up! And subscribe if you're new here! Thank you! + Previous video: https://youtu.be/8ZnlzwLbz98 •••••••••• Video updates ••••••••••• -All high end retail stores, besides boutiques allow the employees to get the applications. A boutique is a smaller version of a retail store and typically ran by a smaller management. Also, boutiques typically have shorter applications and they're usually outdated and ask short, quick questions—they'll look completely different than retail applications. This matters because it tells you about their standards and management. Everything they do is supposed to be utmost perfect and professional, if not, it's not a good sign. •TIP: Go into the store and check to see if you'd obviously like to work there. Is there customers? (However, retail stores are usually very slow, very few people an hour) What type? How many? Are the workers nice? How old are they? Can you spot the weakest and strongest employees? How many people work there? What's their attitude? Do they look like they're getting paid $17-$25?? If not, expect subpar pay and mediocre service. •TIP: The amount you get paid by a store can differ among many reasons: high traffic and popular brand = more money. Or very well-known brand and expensive merchandise with loyal, affluent customers = more money. However, pay can differ depending on your skill level/qualifications, the stores revenue, employee count, management/corporate and conversion. •TIP: Sadly, expect the employees to ignore you and not wait on you. They're either busy, don't care about you or forgot. •TIP: If you are related to someone at a store you are applying to, they will not hire you. But if you do have a family member there that doesn't have the same name, don't fucking tell them. Make sure you communicate with your family member(s) about that. ----------------------------------------------------------- Social media: Instagram: Isseyisaac Snapchat: Isaacinthesky Twitter: Isaacinthesea Tumblr: http://vipers-room.tumblr.com
