Do you ever wonder what lives at the bottom of the mariana trench? This top 10 list of creepy deep sea monsters has some giant and bizarre creatures that are scary and mysterious! Subscribe For New Videos! http://goo.gl/UIzLeB Watch our "MYSTERIOUS Creatures Living At The BOTTOM Of The World!" video here: https://youtu.be/Efhjc-Gu508 Watch our "SECRETS Casinos DON'T Want You To Find Out!" video here: https://youtu.be/hAoABuvzOZM Watch our "RAREST And Most EXPENSIVE Cars In The World!" video here: https://youtu.be/MtCnWSqqilg 10. Frilled Shark The frilled shark has been around a long, LONG time. They’re ‘living fossils’, thought to have been swimming around for anywhere between 95 and 300 million years! Also while they were first discovered in approx 1880 they weren’t actually described until 2004 (the same ROV mission as the barreleye fish). This is one predator that really knows how to keep its head down. It lives at a depth of over 5,000 ft (1524 m). 9. Hatchet Fish Okay so if you came face to face with this dude you’d get one hell of a shock right? Meet the deep sea hatchet fish, so called because of its metallic, hatchet-shaped appearance. It can be found 5,000 ft (1,524 m) down. The metal like quality comes from its scales which is just as well because if it weren’t so shiny you’d have trouble seeing it! 8. Seadevil Anglerfish You’ve probably seen this one in the movies. A seadevil anglerfish appeared in Finding Nemo and the image has been used in some high profile shows like The Simpsons. They were first described in 1864 and can live at a depth of over 6,000 feet (1900 m). Like many deep sea species its movements are mysterious to experts and the only one filmed alive was in 2014. 7. Telescope Octopus Some deep sea animals like to take it easy, I mean there’s a lot of pressure down there!! Maybe none more so than the telescope octopus. Living anywhere from 500 - 6,500 ft (150 - 2000 m) below the surface it’s really laid back. In fact that’s literally what it does… lie back and use its eyes to look up for any food swimming by. 6. Benthocodon Usually when you think of a jellyfish you think of a transparent wobbly thing that stings your foot. Well not this one. The benthocodon isn’t transparent. It has a round, red top which is 2 - 3 cm in diameter and it won’t sting you unless you run into it 2,500 ft (762 m) below the surface. You’d have to be pretty crazy to be at that depth and even crazier without any flippers! 5. Barreleye Fish This fish with a transparent head shocked viewers when it appeared on Blue Planet! Also known as a “spookfish” it has a jelly-like forehead that allows it to look up through its skull, giving it greater visibility! Pretty freaky huh? It is a very efficient hunter that can live at a depth of at least 2,600 feet (800 m) and can be anywhere from 15 to 40 cm long. 4. Goblin Shark This shark is one ugly shark, hence why we call it the goblin shark! Of course I wouldn’t say that to its face poor thing! But its sword-like snout and prehistoric appearance makes it truly unique. 3. Zombie Worm Zombie worms, also known as bone-eating worms, were discovered by accident in 2002 when they appeared to be drilling into the skeletons of dead animals like whales and fish. This confused experts because they looked too squishy to be able to drill like that, but that is how they got their name. The answer came later on in 2012. 2. Foraminifera Foraminifera or ‘fora’ are tiny organisms from the ‘protist’ family. They vary between 100 micrometers and around 20 cm. Because many of them are so small and I’m guessing chewy, they are a prime source of food in the Mariana Trench. That’s a shame because there’s a lot more to these little things than meets the eye. 1. Ping Pong Tree Sponge The strangest name on our list is also the nastiest! Sure, Ping Pong Tree Sponge sounds like something out of Spongebob Squarepants and it’s one beautiful-looking life form. But despite this charming exterior this isn’t a thing to be messed with! It lives nearly 9000 ft (2743 m) underwater and if you’re a small creature it spells bad news. Top 10 scariest animal mutations that are from your nightmares Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] Other Videos You Might Like: 10 REAL Abnormally Large Creatures You Won't Believe! https://youtu.be/QWA2r8zMFl4 10 Teens You Won't Believe Actually Exist! https://youtu.be/tEoVAuFmZhk Description: The animal kingdom is a vast variety of different animals. From cats to reptiles to sea creatures, there is so much to appreciate and admire from animals that we seldom think about the human impact on their survival. The list of endangered species is growing by the day, and we are losing some of the most beautiful animals that have ever existed due to overhunting, drought, manipulating nature, and uses of chemicals. When exposed, several animals today have been born with genetic mutations that cause deformities and physical mutations that defy the laws of biology and physics. If there are no chemicals or nuclear plants present, there have been cases of man trying to cross breed different species for the purposes of creating new animals. Dogs are notorious victims of this practice, which is why we now have “designer” dogs that were never meant to exists. Sometimes, mutations can go nuts to the point where what is born is completely creepy and sends shivers up all of our spines. We feel both horror and pity towards the animal, and in most cases, the animal isn’t able to survive with the mutations and ends up having to be put out of its misery. While some of the stories can be tragic, there are also survival stories that are both incredible and inspiring, even if the animal still manages to creep us out and make us really uncomfortable. Here are stories of creepy mutated animals that you won’t believe are real and not photoshopped. What exactly goes on in the depths of the seas? While a lot of humans focus on the possibility of aliens in outer space, maybe we should look at the strange things that happen in our oceans first! Don’t Mind Me! If you didn’t know any better, you would have thought this was a plant. The weedy sea dragon is closely related to seahorses and look a lot like them, too! Because this sea dragon lacks a prehensile tail like their relatives, they can’t swim too well. They have to drift in the water, moved by the currents, and relying on the camouflage to keep them alive. Most of them measure 18 inches or 45 centimeters in length. They inhabit the waters of the South Western Pacific Ocean and the Eastern Indian Ocean, living at least 160 feet or 50 meters deep. Weedy sea dragons blend nicely with their surroundings, protecting them from predators. 4. Hello? Fellow Eel? We call it the electric eel, but technically, the electric eel isn’t even an eel--it’s a knifefish! The South American Electric Eel is the only member of its genus and is characterized by its long, cylindrical body. They weigh up to 44 pounds or 20 kilograms and reach 6 feet 7 inches or 2 meters in length. The longer an eel’s body is, the higher the electrical charge it can produce. Its three pairs of abdominal organs cause it to generate electricity. The electric eel utilizes the electric charge to immobilize its prey or defend itself. The charge also acts as a form of communication between electric eels. 3. Flip Your Food If you ever visited a place where lots of manta rays reside, you’ve probably seen them flipping around in the water. Ever wondered why they do that? So did scientists. No one is sure precisely why they love to jump and flip around, though there are a few theories out there. One is that the flipping aids them with digestion. Others think that perhaps it’s a way to remove parasites from their skin. The most commonly accepted theory is that they do this as a way to show off for mating purposes. 2. The Whale Wave Humpback whales have had to move from their original habitats thanks to humans and our impact on the environments. This movement in habitat, called the “Whale Wave” has caused something curious to happen amongst the humpback whale population. As recent as last year, scientists noticed that humpback whale began staying in the open ocean during the early summer and moving closer to the mainland by autumn. Researchers guess that the growing amount of pollution and larger traffic of ships has caused this newly observed behavior. Another strange pattern was detected in whales last year, this time in blue whales For the first time in history, researchers were able to capture footage of blue whales making “heat runs.” A heat run is when a group of male whales is lured in by a female whale. The males then chase her through the water. While humpback whales often go on heat runs, this behavior has never before been recorded in blue whales. 1...

Did you know that pigeons have better vision than us? Have you ever wondered how animals and birds actually see the world? What do fish see when they look at us? This video will explain all these to the smallest details! Due to the infrared-sensitive receptors on their snouts, some snakes can ‘see’ the radiated heat of warm-blooded mammals. - Cows don’t see colors as clearly as human. You’ve probably never heard about this: they see the world in a red-orange color scheme. - There is a blind spot where horses can’t see at all – directly in front of their faces. This is because of their eye location. Also, horses don't see as many colors as we do. - Fish eyes have ultraviolet receptors and a more spherical lens than we have. They see the world in green, red, and blue colors, but can’t see red and blue. Deep sea fish can easily see in the dark. - As for birds, they have something similar in their vision – unlike humans, birds can see ultraviolet light. Thanks to the structure of their eyes, they can focus on certain places. - Flies have thousands of individual visual receptors that collectively create a broad field of vision. Also, they see the world in slow-motion and can see ultraviolet light. Another insect, a bee, has an unusual vision as well. It's a surprising fact but bees can't distinguish red color at all! For them the color red appears to be dark blue. - Rat vision is quite blurry, and they can’t see red. They also see the world in slow-motion. Each eye moves independently so they can have two images of the world. - Cats don't distinguish red and green shades, and their world is made up of brown, yellow, and blue shades. The cat's field of view is broader than ours so they can see more on the sides. -Dogs can’t see red and orange colors, but they clearly see blue and violet, as well as ultraviolet light. Moreover, they are able to differentiate between 40 shades of gray! - Frogs can notice only moving objects. They can literally starve to death in the abundance of food if the food does not move! Frogs can also focus only on certain things, so they don’t concentrate on what they don’t need (for example, shadows). - The eyes of chameleons can rotate in different directions independently, so they have a 360-degree field of vision. They see two images at the same time: one in the front and the other one behind. How to Tell Similar-looking Animals from One Another. There are approximately 7.7 million species of animals on our planet. With such an abundance of life forms, it's not surprising that people tend to confuse certain animals. We’ll teach you how to tell even the most similar looking animals from one another. You’ll never make the old mistakes again and will be able to easily find the difference between crocodiles and alligators, llamas and alpacas, leopards and jaguars and many other creatures. TIMESTAMPS Rabbits vs hares 0:46 Moths vs butterflies 1:35 Sheep vs goats 2:21 Hedgehogs vs porcupines 3:15 Llamas vs alpacas 4:11 Crocodiles vs alligators 4:56 Sea lions vs seals 5:50 Wasps vs bees 6:37 Frogs vs toads 7:15 Dolphins vs porpoises 7:54 Turtles vs tortoises 8:29 Leopards vs jaguars 9:04 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -Hares are typically faster and larger than rabbits. Their ears and strong hind legs are also longer, and they have bigger feet. -Butterflies have club-shaped antennae that look like a thin shaft with a bulbous tip. As for moths, their antennae are either serrated or feathery. -You will notice that sheep hold them down whereas the tails of goats proudly stay up. -Like all rodents, porcupines have big front teeth. As for hedgehogs, their snouts and teeth are pointy, and they are omnivores, feasting on insects, frogs, plants, and fruit. -Mature llamas are much larger than alpacas, whose weight typically varies between 100 lb and 170 lb. As for an adult llama, it can weigh as much as 400 lb. -Crocodiles are the lucky owners of special glands, which they use to excrete excess salt. As for alligators, their salt glands aren't so well developed. That's why they mostly live in fresh water. -Sea lions' flippers are larger and covered with skin. Seals have a thinly webbed flipper, and each small toe has a claw. Seals prefer solitude, and sea lions love gathering in big companies and hanging out with friends. -Bees are hairy: they need this feature to dip into flowers to collect pollen. Also, their rear legs are flat. Bees look more stocky. -The skin of most frogs is smooth, while a toad’s skin is thick and bumpy. Frogs' legs are long and slender, and their eyes are big and bulging. -Most dolphins have pointy faces, curved dorsal fins, and slender bodies. Porpoises have triangular back fins, robust bodies, and rounded faces. -Turtles have webbed feet as they live mostly in water, and this makes swimming easier. Also, their shells are lighter and flatter. -You can find jaguars in Central and South America and sometimes in the southwest of the USA. As for leopards, they dwell in Asia and Africa. Jaguars have smaller spots. Leopards are more slender and a bit smaller than jaguars. Yes, it really does look like that in real life, that's why it's on this list. 9. Glass Frogs It's incredible the evolutions and adaptations that animals will go through during their lifecycles on this planet. However, you have to question some of them. While the armor of the Pangolin is understandable, this creature’s evolution is a little mysterious. Here we have a frog...that's see-through. 8. The Dumbo Octopus The name isn't referring to these Octopuses being stupid, far from it. They're called this because they have fins near the top of their heads that resemble flappy ears. Just like Dumbo the elephant from the Disney movie. 7. Saiga Antelope From the depths of the ocean to the vastness of Asia, three countries are home to a very curious breed of antelope. It's called the Saiga Antelope, and it’s a pretty strange creature. 6. Pacu Fish Piranha are one of the most dangerous fish in the world, and have sometimes even been considered some of the most dangerous animals in the world. But their cousins, for lack of a better term, are definitely one of the strangest animals in the world. They're called the Pacu fish, and they'll give you nightmares for different reasons. 5. The Mary River Turtle This one not only looks strange, it acts strange. This is the Mary River Turtle. It can be found in Queensland, Australia, and yes, it has green, spiky hair. Why does it have green hair? No idea, but you have to admit it looks kinda cool, right?? 4. Gharial Let's talk now about one of the strangest and rarest animals in the world, from a family that you wouldn't expect to see on this list...a crocodile. Specifically the Gharial. 3. The Sun Bear Another type of animal you might not have expected to see on this list is a bear. Yet, there is one bear that most definitely qualifies, the Sun Bear. 2. Sphynx Cat I hate to break it to you but Sphynx cats didn’t originally come from Egypt. These cats are born hairless due to a genetic mutation and started getting bred on purpose in the 1970’s. 1. Platypus Ah, the Platypus, or as some call it "nature's reject". Why? Because this animal literally looks like it was sewn together by a mad scientist. Or as one cartoon depicted, God running out of ideas and just throwing something together. In my opinion, it's extremely cute! A sizeable shoal of Sardines proves to be quite a magnet for a variety of different sea predators. Surprisingly, none of the predators on display attack each other, instead they corral the ball of fish, taking turns to eat. Here are the top 14 dangerous and some even poisonous creatures in the ocean it's terrifying to think they are under there waiting!! 7. Megalodon Megalodon is an extinct species of shark that lived millions of years ago. They were a lot like the great white sharks of today only much bigger. While great whites can reach a length of 20 feet, Megalodon’s could reportedly reach a ridiculous length of nearly 60 feet. Their teeth have been found across the globe from Australia to Japan and as far north as England and Denmark. 6. Killer Whales Being an apex predator means you have no natural predators. Essentially these are the animals at the top of the food chain. Killer, or Orca, whales are considered apex predators and have been known to kill great white sharks, leopard seals, and even other whales. Like wolves, they have a tendency to hunt in packs. Wild orcas don't pose any threat to humans, but there have been incidents in which captive orcas have killed or seriously injured their handlers at marine theme parks. These events highlight the fact that people should probably stop keeping killer whales in captivity rather than any indication that orcas are potentially dangerous to humans. 5. Stingrays Stingrays are usually very passive and gentle around human beings. But if they feel vulnerable in any way they have barbed stingers on their tails that inflict notoriously painful stings that can be deadly when hit in the chest or abdomen. Since stingrays spend a lot of time camouflaging on the seafloor humans often step on them accidentally and end up with a very sore foot to show for it. The world just recognized the ten year anniversary of popular wildlife expert Steve Irwin’s death, who was fatally stung by a stingray on September 4, 2006. 4. Leopard Seal Most seals are relatively harmless and pose no threat to human beings. Leopard seals, however, are not your average run of the mill seal. They are the only seals that eat warm-blooded prey, and the females are larger than the males, another oddity amongst seals. They eat penguins, smaller seals and squid using their powerful jaws, sharp teeth, and clever hunting tactics. In 2003 a British marine biologist was fatally attacked by a leopard seal while snorkeling off of the Antarctic Peninsula. It was the first time a fatal seal attack was recorded, and though seal attacks are rare scientists speculate that the more humans interact with these seals, the more attacks there will be in the future. 3. Box Jellyfish Amongst the world’s most poisonous creatures, this unassuming ocean dweller is responsible for many fatalities annually. Many countries don’t require death certificates, so the exact number isn’t known, but judging from the fact that 20 to 40 people die every year in the Philippines alone, it’s safe to assume that box jellyfish are one of the ocean’s deadliest creatures. Their tentacles are covered with cnidocyst, which contains a tiny dart loaded with a poison that can cause a rapid spike in blood pressure leading to a potentially fatal heart attack. These facts have led some to call the box jellyfish the world’s most venomous creature. 2. Sharks When talking about the ocean’s deadliest predators, sharks are usually the first creatures to come to people’s minds. Though their reputation does have some basis in reality, it is cultural references like the Jaws movie franchise and the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week that have ballooned the shark’s reputation to all new somewhat undeserving heights. There are around 500 species of sharks, but only three, the great white, tiger and bull sharks are responsible for double-digit fatalities. From 1948 to early 2016 there were 2,899 total unprovoked shark attacks recorded around the world, 548 of which were fatal. In comparison, you are more likely to be killed by a falling aircraft or riding a horse. 1. Saltwater Crocodile The saltwater crocodile has two things going for it that help to make them the ocean’s deadliest. These beasts are the largest reptiles on the planet, reaching weights of up to 2,600 pounds and have the most powerful bite on earth, ten times stronger than that of the great white shark. Of all crocodiles, this territorial species is the most likely to treat humans as prey. There are a few fatal saltwater crocodile attacks per year in Australia, with many more attacks from different areas of the world that are believed to go unreported.

This is a good place to have come to if you’re having a bad day. I personally guarantee that within the next ten minutes, you’re going to be feeling so much better! Enjoy our list of the most adorable animals we could lay our hands on! Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 14 - But is it real? This animal looks like it stepped right out of the film, “Fantastic Beasts and where to find them.” This is a baby short beaked echidna… called a puggle! Even the name Puggle is cute! These unique mammals actually lay eggs! 13 - Melting… Your heart will melt too when you meet Mr. Peebles, the worlds smallest living cat. His size has even been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. When he was already 2-years old, he weighed around 2-pounds and was a mere 5-inches long. 12 - Stay Little… If crocodiles could only stay this little! It’s hard to believe that this tiny, very sweet looking little creature grows up to be a human guzzling monster, isn’t it? Babies are called hatchlings, and they’re not dangerous – however, if you see a baby alone and you’re in the water, get as far away as possible – that mama will be there within seconds! 11 - Let sleeping squirrels lie… I know that squirrels can be a nuisance at times, but when they’re so little and are sleeping peacefully in your hands just like this one, you forget all about the other stuff! 10 - Be still my beating heart… Aptly named Thumbelina, this is the world’s smallest horse. She’s only 17-inches tall, making her only a little bigger than a domestic cat. She was born on a farm that specializes in miniature horses, but she came out even more mini than expected. She weighs 60-pounds and her added smallness is due to dwarfism. 9 - Go nuts! This is another baby squirrel that is definitely a cutie! Babies are known as kits or kittens, and when they’re born they’re blind, relying on their moms for around 2-3 months. 8 - Sealed with a kiss… This baby seal is doing the Puss in Boots eyes to perfection. I don’t care what this seal is asking for – whatever it is, he can have it! Seals and sea lions only have one pup a year, which is probably a good thing – because if they’re all as adorable as this, there’d be a lot of spoilt seals around :P 7 - Cute and Cuddly Boys… Cute and Cuddly! Skipper, Rico, Kowalski and Private knew their stuff! Penguins may look ultra-sweet, but they’re anything but! They often cheat on their partners and mother penguins have been known to kidnap baby penguins when their own haven’t survived! 6 - Cute from any angle... Look at any photograph of a baby prairie dog, and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. They are all precious. These burrowing rodents are native to the grasslands of North America and they’re often considered as pests, as they have the ability to kill an entire crop in record time. 5 - Keep em young… Seriously, because fully-grown opossums or possums, are not nearly as sweet looking as their babies! Babies are called Joey’s, just like kangaroos and these guys have an incredible bonus working to their advantage – they have a partial or total immunity against the venom produced by several snakes. 4 - Substitute mother… This little humming bird is just captivating, and I loved the idea of putting the fake flower on the end of the syringe, so she could feel a little closer to home. Should you ever pick up a baby hummingbird to try help it, remember they can’t grow purely on sugar water. Their natural diet their mom brings consists of nectar and extremely small insects. 3 - Huff and Puff… This is a baby puffer fish, and despite his small size, can still be dangerous. It’s believed that the mother fish leaves a protective layer of poison over her baby which protects it for a while until it’s able to puff itself out and do the job himself. An adult pufferfish has enough tetrodotoxin to do away with 30 adults! 2 - Puppy Tales… Heads up – be prepared to want to have a baby and get a puppy at the same time once you’ve seen these images! Jessica Shyba took incredible photographs of her son Beau, and their 7-week-old puppy, Theo. Theo was too scared to sleep alone, which is why Beau began snuggling down with the pup with every nap taken. I’d love to say the rest is history, but it isn’t! A few years later, Beau and Theo have been joined by Evangeline, Beau’s baby sister. The cuteness ante has been upped majorly, so soak it all in while you can. 1...

Check out these 10 sea monsters attacking a boat! This top 10 list of ocean creatures like whales and great white sharks attacking a ship shows some bizarre stories caught on camera! Great White Shark If you’ve been on a boat out on the ocean, a Jaws attack has probably crossed your mind. Even if it’s just barely!! Then of course you rationalize that the chances of that happening are practically 0. Practically. That’s what Terry Selwood, a 73-year-old Australian fisherman learned in 2017, when a great white shark leapt out of the water, into his boat!! 9. An Eagle Ray Rays seem like beautiful, serene creatures - but they can be extremely dangerous, even if you’re on the relative safety of a large tourist boat. In 2011, Jenny Hausch had rented a 26-foot catamaran for her family to take a trip in Florida. Sounds really nice right? 8. Swordfish In 2017, Alan Pope, a British tourist, was on a boat trip getting ready to go snorkeling in Indonesia when everything went horribly wrong. Without any warning, a swordfish jumped out of the water and into the boat, and impaled his neck with its bill. The end snapped off, and left six inches of the sword still jabbed inside his neck, just millimeters from instantly killing him. 7. Sperm Whales The Gulf of Alaska is a prime fishing location, especially for those trying to catch black cod. In these waters, though, there is a much larger creature that also likes eating the fish- sperm whales. They are the ocean’s largest toothed predators, and while they are quite capable of catching food for themselves, they much prefer taking the easy route. 6. Giant Squid Mostly creatures of legend, giant squids are mentioned in many old mariners tales of dangers at sea. But they are rarely seen, let alone involved in attacking boats. So when a team of French sailors came face to face with one in 2003, they almost didn’t believe it!! 5. Bull Shark You might think that a great white shark would be the most problematic shark species to boats, but there’s another type that can be more aggressive, and more likely to risk an encounter. 4. Jellyfish Sometimes it’s the smallest things that can have the biggest effect, something that became ever so apparent in 2017 when Chinese scientists were investigating why their aircraft carriers were experiencing difficulties. They found that large swarms of Jellyfish were getting caught up in the propulsion systems! This would stop the ships dead in their tracks, or cause the engines to overheat and cause extreme damage. 3. Mako Shark This next story took place just last year, 2017 in Long Island, New York. A fishing charter boat was taking guests to the location where they find the widest variety of fish, when suddenly a Mako shark jumped onto the side of the boat. Unfortunately for the fish, it managed to get itself stuck in the handrail of the boat and, despite thrashing about, it couldn’t free itself. 2. Black Marlin Game fishing is a popular pastime for many enthusiasts, but when you’re chasing after some of the largest and most powerful marine creatures on earth, you have to be ready for the unpredictable. Again last year, things went very wrong indeed for a fishing boat off the coast of Panama. They had caught a black marlin, a species that can weight up to 1500 pounds and reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. 1. Killer Whale If you’ve ever watched a nature documentary that’s featured Killer Whales, you’ll be all too familiar how organised and clever they can be. Pods work together to catch prey, and even tilt ice flows to trap seals. When they turn these skills towards human activity, the results can be frightening. How do you recognize something that you can touch and something you have to run away from as fast as possible? Here is a list of the most dangerous sea creatures you can meet and how to recognize them! There are so many different species living in the ocean! Some of them are beautiful, some are deadly, and some are both. TIMESTAMPS Fire Coral 0:40 Flower Urchin 1:20 Cone Snail 1:50 Portuguese Man-of-War 2:32 Snea snakes 3:54 Lionfish 4:51 Chironex 5:39 Surgeonfish 6:15 Indonesian needlefish 6:59 Triggerfish 7:34 SUMMARY - Fire Coral. These small organisms can sting, and the effect can be not very serious and it can be quite bad. A stung person may have severe pains, feel nauseated and even vomit, which is not the best thing to do when you are underwater. - Flower Urchin is both very beautiful and very deadly. It contains toxins that can cause anaphylactic shock, convulsions and finally death. You can get poisoned if you step on it when you are in the sea or the ocean. - Scientists say that just one drop of the cone snail’s poison is enough to kill 20 people! Just one drop! - The most mind-blowing fact about Man-of-War is that technically we should call it Men-of-War, and refer to it not as «it», but «they», and here is why: it’s an animal that is made up of a colony of organisms cooperating together. Man-of-war has tentacles that can be 30 feet long, which it uses to paralyze and kill fish and other small creatures. - Sea snakes are much more venomous than their land-living friends. As it turns out, they have to be like that because they hunt fish, so what they need to do is immobilize their prey very quickly not to let it escape. - Many people call the lionfish the most beautiful sea creature in the world. You can find them in the Caribbean and Eastern Atlantic. Lionfishes are not deadly — they do have a venom, but it’s not lethal. However, the pain you will experience if you get stung is so severe that people say you might wish you were dead. - Chironex doesn’t have any teeth, but it’s dangerous as hell. If a person gets stung, they will have excruciating pain, red inflammation in the stung area and heart dysfunction. - Surgeonfish are easily spooked, so you should be extra careful if you see one of them. Don’t make any unexpected fast moves. The good news is, surgeonfish are not aggressive unless, of course, you provoke them. - Indonesian needlefish live in tropical and subtropical waters of the oceans. They, as the name suggests, have a very sharp, needle-like beak, and they are especially dangerous when they hurl themselves out of the water. - Triggerfish is mostly friendly, but only until you are a threat to its nest. The most dangerous are females — if you approach its nest even accidentally, it will bite you. Thankfully, the bites aren’t poisonous, but triggerfish have extremely sharp teeth, so the injuries it can cause need serious medical attention. Me neither!! Take a look at this list of crazy cool animals that you’ve probably have never seen! 10 – Japanese Spider Crab The Japanese Spider Crab looks like something that I’d love to eat with a side of melted butter! It’s got the longest leg span of any arthropod in the world, with legs reaching up to 12ft from claw to claw. These guys live up to 100 years old, and they live on the sea floor in waters near Japan, in case you’re wondering why it’s called a Japanese spider crab. They can weigh as much as 42 lbs, and could probably eat my cat if it wanted to, but supposedly these guys are pretty timid in nature. The Japanese Spider Crab is of course considered a Japanese delicacy; hell, they already look like they’re cooked! 9 – Atolla Jellyfish The Atolla Jellyfish isn’t just your average jellyfish! It’s a jellyfish that uses bioluminescence to fend off its predators. How exactly does it use the flashing lights on its body to protect itself? Essentially, when it’s attacked, it flashes distress signals to other predators around that’ll be interested in its attacker more than itself! Yo, this jellyfish knows how to get other people to do its dirty work! I wonder if they sell this guy in stores because this would definitely be an awesome thing to have in an aquarium! 8 – Yeti Crab The Yeti Crab was just first discovered back in 2005 in the Pacific Ocean, and is known for its hairy “fur” covering its legs and claws. These guys live near thermal vents at the bottom of the sea, basically in little thermal pockets of warm water. In waters that deep, the temperature ranges from 30-33 degrees Fahrenheit, so it’s literally freezing down at the bottom of the sea! However, there are hydrothermal vents that spew out water that’s about 720 degrees Fahrenheit, so there are small areas that are much nicer to hang out at, and that’s where you can find these guys! The hair that they have on their legs and claws harbor and grow bacteria, which is their favorite food. Man, I wish I had hair on my arms that just harvest and grew pizza!

For years, though, researchers have been tracking a certain number of items to monitor the currents, and what they are might surprise you. In the 1990’s, a large shipment of Nike shoes was accidently dropped from a cargo ship and into the deep waters of the ocean. While a big loss for the company that manufactured the shoes, this accident was a big break for scientists. It turns out that each of the Nike shoes of the some 80,000 that were lost all carried the same serial code printed on them. The code that was printed on the shoes was 90 04 06. This distinct marking has allowed ocean experts to track the movements of the shoes for years, allowing them to better understand how and where different underwater currents move and interact with one another. Nike might have lost a lot of money when they lost their shoes, but they’ve certainly helped advance the sciences a bit. Hm, wonder if they got to write the loss off on their tax returns. 7. Bananas For Everyone Most of us imagine sea shells when we think about walking along our local beach lines -- or maybe sharks if one is a bit more cautious around water. However, sometimes something entirely unexpected makes its way onto shore. These things range from the odd, to the mysterious, to the comical. In November of 2007, an island in the Dutch North Sea was treated to a rare and weird kind of tide washing in. The waves came in one morning and the next thing the people of Terschelling Island knew there were bananas all over their beach. Thousands of green, unripe fruit littered the sand, attracting a large number of the nearby town’s citizens to collect and scavenge the unexpected haul of produce. There were just far too many bananas for anyone to know what to do with them. Some of the locals even suggested sending them to the local zoos. As weird as this occurrence might sound, the citizens of Terschelling are actually used to the contents of random, lost shipping containers washing up on their homes’ doorstep. Sweaters, shoes, and hundreds of children's’ toys are all example of the type of things that have washed up on the Dutch island. Plenty of things floating around their waters! 6. Human-Sized Fish Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and the list of cryptids go on. For thousands of years, humanity has whispered about things hiding in the shadows that mainstream science has yet to recognize. Many believers in these shadowy creatures even point to seemingly extinct animals as proof that monstrous beings have existed at one time and might still survive somewhere, unseen, even today. Perhaps nowhere is the existence of extinct creatures more possible than in the mostly unexplored seas and oceans of the world. Just around 98% of the Earth’s waters are unexplored, unmapped, and undocumented in any kind of detail, leading to the question of just what might be lurking down under the deep blue waves that crash just off our safe shores. Despite us only having explored around 2% of the water in the world, most experts still doubt the existence of modern, underwater prehistoric or cryptid creatures. In 1938, however, a fish called a Coelacanth that can grow to be the size of a large human was discovered off the coast of South Africa. This fish was previously thought to have gone extinct up to 66 millions years prior to its rediscovery -- and yet, we found it living right under our noses. Wonder what else is hiding in plain sight? 5. Rotting Ball In August of 2016, a 36-year-old man named Mark Watkins was fishing with his aging father in the waters off the western coast of Australia. As their boat pushed them through the waters, the two fisherman never expected to stumble upon a large, floating pink blob that was absolutely gigantic! The alien blob of pink and white seemed bloated and full of air. Upon first inspection, Mr. Watkins and his father at thought that it was a hot air balloon or even a weird kind of upturned boat. The fishermen's’ curiosity got the best of them, so they inspected it further. Upon coming closer to the floating white ball, the two discovered that flippers were attached to the large object and the smell was terrible! Aww, small animals are so cute! Check out this adorable list of the worlds tiniest little animals! Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 6 - Speckled Padloper Tortoise Also known as the speckled cape tortoise is the world's tiniest turtle, you can find them inside South Africa. These little critters usually measure between six to ten centimeters in length and weigh around 95 to 165 grams. These little guys are most active in early mornings and live in rocky terrain usually feeding on small succulents which grow in between the rocks. Their babies are usually born under seven grams and are only 30 millimeters long, the hatchlings emerge from their shells between 100 and 120 days. 5 - Spaghetti Snake This charming reptilian can most commonly be located inside the Caribbean Islands native to Barbados and are said to be about as thick as a spaghetti noodle, hence their super cute namesake. This tiny member of the snake species called the blind threadsnake, they usually only grow to be about four inches in length and coil easily onto the width of an American quarter. The biologist who discovered this adorable reptile was S. Blair Hedges of the Pennsylvania State University who unearthed the tiny find from the soil of Barbados where they burrow in the forest dirt for their favourite meal, insect larvae. Though these snakes are blind, teeny tiny and lay just one egg at a time, they have managed to survive in the harsh wilderness of Barbados forests, proving once and for all that big things really do come in small packages. 4 - The Philippine Tarsier These little guys are some of the world's smallest primates, they are known for being jittery and shy. These marvels of the modern world have grey fur and have a nearly naked tail, head and body length only stretch to about 115 to 150 millimeters and weigh an approximate 110 to 145 grams. These Philippine-born critters are best characterised by their gigantic eyes, slender legs and fingers and jumping prowess, they can hop up to twenty whole feet, which is pretty darn impressive for such little guys. These miniature Tarsiers also have a very distinct neck, they have specially evolved vertebrates which allow them to turn their heads to nearly 180 degrees, making for the cutest exorcist movie ever! 3 - Denise's Pygmy Seahorse Look carefully, can you spot the little adorable horse of the sea? This adorable little miniature seahorse can be found in the Pacific ocean, most commonly on the Western side, they are sometimes referred to as the yellow pygmy seahorse with a standard tiny size of around two and a half centimeters. These teeny-weeny creatures have short snouts, slender smooth bodies and a prehensile tail. These little darlings are most commonly found at depths between 13 and 100 meters below sea level usually hidden inside fields of sea fans. The male is the one who gets pregnant and broods the eggs inside its ventral brood pouch and utilises adaptive camouflage, changing it's color from yellow, to orange and sometimes to pink in order to remain not eaten by predators. 2 - Dwarf Three-Toed Jerboa This amazing tiny wonder is hailed as the smallest rodent in the world and also, the cutest. This teeny weeny rodent grows to be an average of about 1 and a half inches in head and body length with the tail stretching an approximate 3 inches, these adorable critters usually weigh around 3.75 grams. These critters can be found in Pakistan and Afghanistan frequenting sand dunes, gravel flats and sandy plains in hot deserts. These cute little guys are best known for their long hops and magnificent balance thanks to their long tails. These cute fellas tend to live inside burrows under small bushes and feed on wind blown seeds and scattered leaves. 1 - Pygmy Mouse Lemur Get ready for an absolute cuteness overload ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to the world's smallest species of lemur, the pygmy mouse lemur. This adorable little guy is only approximately five inches long and weighs a microscopic two ounces. These tiny little adorable creatures were discovered in the year of 1993 along the forested areas of Madagascar, These nocturnal primates prefer deciduous forests and are usually brown and white in color, they have long tails which they use to hang from trees and look even more adorable than usual. Oh man, just look at this one, he's sticking out his tongue, ah! So cute!

What’s scarier than the prehistoric Megalodon that used to live in the Mariana Trench? The sharp-toothed, creepy-looking creatures that currently live there! While much of the Mariana Trench hasn’t been explored yet, what scientists have found so far is absolutely terrifying. Have you ever heard about the Zombie Worm or the Goblin Shark? Do you know that there is an octopus that swallows his prey whole? Or maybe you know anything about a fish with a transparent head? Watch to learn more about the creepy creatures that lie in the world’s deepest waters. But be warned: You may never want to swim in the ocean again. These fish rely on their “contact chemoreception” to find prey. - The Dumbo Octopus is the deepest living octopus scientists know of, according to oceana.org. They are known as “umbrella octopuses” since their arms are connected by webbed skin. When they spread them apart, they look like an umbrella…a slimy, hungry, deep-sea umbrella. - You can see through the Barreleye Fish’s head! Some scientists believe that this transparent head lets the fish collect a bit more light in the dark depths of the sea, which gives them an advantage over other fish that hunt blindly. - The Seadevil Anglerfish has a fishing-rod type appendage on its forehead that has a glowing light attached to the end to attract animals. Once these animals come close enough to the light — BAM! They’re captured by the Seadevil’s massive jaws. - The Goblin Shark looks like a cross between a shark and a creature from your worst nightmare. These sharks boast a protruding sword-like snout with a jaw that juts out to match. Unlike other sharks that have more of a gray hue, this creepy thing looks not-so-pretty in pink. - There are over 40 species of hatchetfish that sport thin bodies covered in shiny scales. That’s why they often look metallic. These fish only grow to be around 6”, but they’re able to handle the pressure of the deep sea, living 5,000 ft below the surface! - Not quite. The Zombie Worm isn’t an undead creature of the deep sea; it is very much alive. It’s also known as the Bone Worm, and it can swallow bones of massive mammals like whales. - Along with some other creatures on this list, the Deep-Sea Dragonfish relies on its bioluminescent body parts to catch prey. It also uses its hanging appendage, which boasts a little red light on the end, coming out from its lower jaw. - Studying the Frilled Shark is like looking through a portal back to prehistoric times. That’s because scientists think that these eel-like sharks haven’t changed much since their oldest ancestors roamed the deep-sea waters, so they’re sometimes referred to as “living fossils.” - Scientists believe Liopleurodon thrived in this deep-sea trench because of its ability to swim long distances and its 4 paddle-like limbs. While they probably weren’t able to propel themselves toward prey like other animals of the area, they did manage to accelerate and attack very ruthlessly and efficiently. There is one special place that simultaneously terrifies and has unexplainable pull: 300 ships gone missing, 75 aircrafts never found; you're right, that's all about the Bermuda Triangle. Few people are aware of what the life is like at the bottom of the Bermuda Triangle – are you ready to meet the most shocking and scary creatures ever? Dragonfish live at the staggering depth of 5 to 7 thousand feet. This fish looks quite terrifying, with its black coloring and the light it produces on its own. Unlike other deep-water inhabitants, dragonfish produces light in the infrared range while the blue and green range is what other fish stick to. Vampire Squid has the largest eyes in terms of proportions in the world and is born to live in the depth. These animals are also covered with photophores which distract predators and lure prey. The mouth of the gulper eel is loosely hinged which makes it extremely wide and big. In fact, the length of the jaw of the eel reaches one-fourth of the length of their body. Despite being the owner of an enormous mouth, the gulper eel has tiny teeth, and this means that it isn't supposed to prey on large animals. The Goblin Shark reaches 13 ft in size and is also called the Vampire Shark due to the fact that it avoids light at all cost. Due to this feature, you can see the shark in its natural habitat only if you go as deep as 890 to 4300 ft. Pharynx, a complex feeding apparatus that helps Eunice Aphroditois catch the prey, can turn inside out, not unlike glove fingers. It has strong and extremely sharp mandibles which can easily cut the prey in half due to the strength and speed of the worm's attack. These are just some of the creatures that lurk in the depth of the Bermuda Triangle. Who knows what other unbelievable horror-movie beasts we can meet there? Nobody knows for sure what makes crafts disappear in this area. -Dragonfish looks quite terrifying, with its black coloring and the light it produces on its own in case of danger. -The Vampire Squid has is bright red eyes and crimson cloak that looks like webbing. In case of a threat, these creatures can invert their skin exposing their spines. -The pouch-like structure of the lower jaw allows the eel to deposit its prey there. Even the stomach of the eel can stretch so much that the creature can hold there a huge amount of food. -The Goblin Shark reaches 13 ft in size and is also called the Vampire Shark due to the fact that it avoids light at all cost.
