Head into any toy store and you’ll see that even kids are shown from early on what an attractive girl and masculine boy should look like. Even cars and video games are all about looks and we can’t seem to get enough of it. One of the most common ways people try to improve their looks and feel better about themselves is through exercise. Have a little extra holiday weight? Trying to get a few more bulges in those arms? Can’t remember what a six-pack looks like? People turn to the gym or the great outdoors to get themselves into shape and improve their image. From running to lifting weights to doing laps in the pool, exercise may not be as easy as putting on some new fancy clothes or slapping on some makeup, but it will make you healthier, both on the inside and the outside. Of course, most people only exercise a little bit as either a way to do a little body maintenance or shed a couple unwanted pounds. Then there are those people who take it to the extreme. To them, lifting weights, running several miles, following a strict dietary regime and keeping junk out their body is serious stuff. This isn’t just a temporary thing but a lifestyle which sees maintaining their form and fitness as a priority. Then, within this group of health conscious people are an even more extreme group who see strength and exercise as not only a lifestyle, but a job. These individuals push themselves every day, always adding extra weight, extra repetitions and a few extra minutes on the treadmill. For them, the looks are a nice consequence of their work. The real payoff, however, is when they win competitions, titles and records for being the strongest. These strongest men, women and children make us ordinary people look like absolute slobs. Whereas we might get winded walking up a flight of stairs, these individuals only get winded after finishing a series of lifts involving hundreds of pounds. They are the strongest people in the world and they have pushed their bodies and their minds to lengths most of us could only dream of. The difference between this challenge is we are making the weights lifted the equivalent of our bodyweight. Therefore the size and weight difference has been negated, and so the challenge is - how many times can we lift our bodyweight in 1 minute. This workout will take you about 60-75 minutes to complete. Here is the full workout! 1) Barbell Squats 4 Sets x 8,6,4,2 + Double Drop Set 10/10 (watch 1:48) 2) Leg Press 3 Sets x 8-12 reps (Go Heavy As Possible!!!) 3) Dumbbell Lunges 3 Sets x 8-10 reps (per leg) 4) Dumbbell Sumo Squat 3 Sets x 8-12 reps ***SUPER-SET*** 5) Lying Leg Curls 3 Sets x 12-15 reps 6) Calf Raise 150 Total Reps Donkey Calf Raises ** It is okay to take a longer rest period time on your squats and leg press sets. I normally rest about 2-3 minutes between my squat sets and then about 1-2 minutes between my leg press sets. All the other exercises, keep your rest periods about 45-60 seconds. Chase that pump and keep pushing yourself. Make sure to stay hydrated because you will cramp up if you are not.

The Naga Students' Union, Delhi (NSUD) held the first leg of its Golden Jubilee celebrations with the theme "the [email protected]: Pause, Rewind and Play" on October 7 and 8, 2013 at the Polo Ground, Delhi University. The 'Indigenous Delight' commenced on October 7 with B. P. Singh, Vice- Chairman of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), Government of India gracing the opening ceremony as the chief guest. The program began with a musical performance by the band Red Light Passenger. During this two-day 'Indigenous Delight' a total of 16 traditional games were played through organised inter-house competition. These home games included archery for men, arm wrestling for both men and women, cock fight, javelin throw, greased pole climbing for men, wrestling for men, Naga wrestling, blind strike for men and women, basket binding for women, fire- making for men, chicken- catching and yarn spooling for women. The Indigenous Extravaganza ended with the highly anticipated Naga F1 race, an innovative competition blending contemporary technical thinking with traditional mechanical and design practices.
