Old-Fashion Peanut Butter Candy Recipe
Here is a quick no cooking required Peanut Butter Candy Recipe made with just 3 ingredients: Creamy Peanut Butter, Powdered Sugar, and Milk. I haven't made this recipe enough to be good at it. My mom makes it look simple, but my peanut butter sugar candy always looks like I made it with one arm tied behind my back. Spoon some powdered sugar into a small bowl, about 1½ cups. The measurement doesn't have to be exact, because the main thing you want to accomplish is getting the milk-to-sugar ratio right. Build a small "well" in the center of your powdered sugar and add milk in at about a tablespoon at a time, mixing it slowly as you go. Don't add the milk too quickly. Stir the mixture around until it clumps and thickens like a dough. Add milk as needed, and if it gets too wet, just add more sugar. Start mixing with a spoon, and as it clumps into a "sugar dough", use your hand to mix. Once you get a "doughball" of sugar, "flour" a flat surface with powdered sugar and place your doughball of flour on it. Flatten the dough with your hand, adding sugar as needed to keep it from sticking. Turn the sugar dough and flatten it out by hand and then use a rolling pin to flatten and spread the dough until it is about the thickness of a tortilla. Use a spatula to spread a thin layer of creamy peanut butter over the entire surface of the sugar. Then carefully roll the sugar up from one side to the next, creating a pinwheel of sugar and peanut butter. Dust with sugar as needed to keep the log from sticking. Knead the peanut butter sugar log and press and pull and turn to make it as long as possible without tearing. Use a knife to cut the log into candy pieces about ½" in length. Set the candy aside on a plate and it will firm up over time. Place it in the fridge and it will firm up faster. Make as much candy as you like, but don't go crazy!--it's a bunch of sugar. It's a nice treat, but definitely one you want to eat in moderation. I hope you like this candy, it's one of my childhood favorites. My mama uses a lot of her kitchen baking gadgets in this video, but you can easily make do with regular kitchen items like a spatula and butter knife, or you can check current prices for some of the gadgets Amazon: For another easy to make sweet treat, take a look at this Marshmallow Cereal Bar Recipe. Open Tuesday to Sunday. 2305 Rue Guy, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. As promised, here is another candy video back to back. Lin and Mei are joined by their new helper and candy expert, Marion, creating a design we picked from YouTube comments. The most popular suggested design in YouTube comments was a dog 🐕, so we decided on an Akita dog, which is a Japanese large mountain dog breed similar to the husky. The Japanese Akita is typically orange in colour, unlike the American Akita which has mixed coats in different colours. This breed became popular online because of Faithful Hachikō. From Wikipedia: ⚆ _ ⚆ “In 1924, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo, took Hachikō, a golden brown Akita, as a pet. Ueno would commute daily to work, and Hachikō would leave the house to greet him at the end of each day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued the daily routine until May 1925, when Ueno did not return. The professor had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, while he was giving a lecture, and died without ever returning to the train station in which Hachikō would wait. Each day, for the next nine years, nine months and fifteen days, Hachikō awaited Ueno's return, appearing precisely when the train was due at the station. Hachikō attracted the attention of other commuters. Many of the people who frequented the Shibuya train station had seen Hachikō and Professor Ueno together each day. Initial reactions from the people, especially from those working at the station, were not necessarily friendly. However, after the first appearance of the article about him in Asahi Shimbun on October 4, 1932, people started to bring Hachikō treats and food to nourish him during his wait.” (◕‿◕✿) Candylabs uses an old-fashion, old world process of making candy. They use no machines (beyond a stove to boil sugars) and make the candy by hand. Their candy is made with simple ingredients and comes in a huge variety of flavours --- we recently tried Pina Colada, for example. The flavour of this dog candy is tangerine, which is a mini-sized citric fruit like an orange. It takes us the entire day to film the process and Lin is very tired by the end of it as the huge piece of candy is very heavy.\ Amazon Links ~ Cute Akita Dog plush toy: http://amzn.to/2jyFmqu Doggo calendar for the new year! http://amzn.to/2BCa7Dp Another way to support us to get Merch – we have t-shirts and absolutely stunning calendars from our Micro ASMR series - https://stereokroma.com/tv/merch/ For email updates on our videos, sign up to our newsletter: http://eepurl.com/bLFBXP Music Credits ~ Earth Tones by Hpnotic718 Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC BY 3.0) https://soundcloud.com/hpnotic718/classic_earth-tones Fresh Smoke [ExtendedInterlude] by Hpnotic718 Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC BY 3.0) https://soundcloud.com/hpnotic718/fresh-smoke-interlude Standing Here by Silent Partner Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0) https://soundcloud.com/silentpartnermusic/standing-here Stereokroma ~ 。◕‿◕。 ⭐ Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/stereokroma ⭐ Want to donate? https://www.ko-fi.com/stereokroma ⭐ We are also on Twitter & Instagram @Stereokroma ⭐ Get new videos in your email by joining our newsletter: http://eepurl.com/bLFBXP ⭐ See more at: http://tv.stereokroma.com © 2017 Stereokroma Creative Services G.P.

Old Fashioned Potato Candy I Good Times With Jen
The next time you have plain, leftover mashed potatoes, make this oldie (but goodie) sweet peanut butter treat! INGREDIENTS: 1/3 cup russet potato (peeled, boiled, and riced or mashed) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3-4 cups powdered sugar 2-3 tablespoons peanut butter 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder STEPS: 1.) Combine cooked potato, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl, until the mixture forms a putty-like dough. 2.) Dump the candy dough onto wax paper sprinkled powdered sugar. Use a rolling pin to roll into a rectangular shape. Trim to form straight edges. Spread an even layer of peanut butter across the top. Slowly roll the candy from one short edge to another. Wrap with the wax paper and chill until firm. Slice rolled potato candy and enjoy! 3.) Roll excess candy dough back into a ball. Pinch off small balls and shape to resemble tiny potatoes. Coat with unsweetened cocoa powder. Chill to firm or enjoy right away. old fashioned Candy Shop , natural ingredients
why i say old fashioned example. Old Fashioned gym was gym from a tree, real sugar and real taste from various fruits...now gym is actually plastics mixed with man made chemicals and false sugars that reek havoc to the body...... You don't see candy shops anymore. Why, because the passion for candy made with holistic ingredients is not here anymore. People are too busy caught in the rat race to open a shop like this because most people that open shops are geared for profit first.... Remember Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Espeez Old Fashioned Rock Candy on a Stick
Got a Pinterest board full of candy buffet bar ideas for a bridal shower, party or wedding? Candy buffet bars add fun and visual interest to a party. But there's one candy that is a must-have for a candy buffet: Rock Candy. Our pick for this show-stopper sweet? Espeez Old Fashioned Rock Candy on a Stick. WHY ROCK CANDY IS A MUST HAVE FOR A CANDY BAR BUFFET Look closely at most of the candy bar photos you may have pinned on Pinterest and other media: most likely, there are lots of gumballs in those apothecary jars because they are larger and shiny and they photograph well. But giant gumballs aren't a sweet or dessert which means for a real candy buffet, not just a photo op, you need a bigger candy item with visual interest to compensate for all the small round or cube shaped candies and treats that are used in most candy bars. These small candies when displayed in volume add color, but they lack texture and depth, so the candy bar lacks that real spark. This is why Rocky Candy is the star of the candy buffet. They are visually interesting, colorful, long, and don't look like all the other candy on the table. You SEE the rocky candy. WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT ESPEEZ OLD FASHIONED ROCK CANDY? We use Espeez Rock Candy because it is made of Pure Cane sugar. They are visually appealing, colorful, long, versatile, and tasty. Espeez rock candy is bigger than others at 22 grams and the candy itself if 5 inches long on a 6.5-inch stick. Espeez comes in nostalgic colors and flavors like Cherry, Cotton Candy, Strawberry, Raspberry, Plain and Grape, and they're only 85 calories. They individually wrapped swizzle sticks make ideal party favors. This show-stopping sweet stands out amongst the smaller round and cube shaped treats on candy bars for a memorable presentation. PACKAGING Espeez Rock candy comes in a durable, sturdy, resealable and reusable tub that keeps the candy safe until it is used. I really like this feature since other rock candies have at times arrived broken which requires ordering extras just to have enough, but all 36 of the Espeez Rock Candies came intact. INGREDIENTS Made with Pure Cane Sugar, Espeez Rock Candy on a Stick is made with Certified Gluten-Free, Nut-Free, Kosher, and Halal. WAYS TO USE ESPEEZ ROCK CANDY There are many ways to display Espeez Rock Candy on a Stick as part of a candy buffet bar. One way we like is hanging the individual sticks from branches with ribbons or strings to create a candy tree for a colorful and full visual display to counterbalance the various shapes of apothecary cylinders on the candy bar. - The individually wrapped swizzle sticks make ideal party favors for a baby shower, bridal shower, bachelorette party, tea party, teen girl party, princess party, wedding favor, and other events. Give them as-is or wrap with a ribbon and name tag or message for a personalized favor. - Try serving Espeez Rock Candy as a swizzle stick for a signature party drink such as tea, lemonade, or with a mixed drink for color, texture and an unexpected way to add sweetness to a beverage. - When placing Rocky Candy on a Stick in an apothecary jar or a mason jar, boost them with colorful stones, marbles or colorful crinkled paper so a guest doesn't have to reach into the jar.
