Vlog 1: Alexandria. On Egypt Road Trip with Mahindra Adventure

02:54
Egypt links northeast Africa to the Middle East and is home to some millennia-old monuments by the Mediterranean sea and the Nile River. Ed Sirish Chandran road trips this historically and culturally rich country in the Mahindra Scorpio SUV. Day one takes him through the beautiful port city of Alexandria. And surprisingly, the traffic in Egypt is similarly chaotic like India, something Ed is used to! Also, the Egyptian coastline provides some breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. IRELAND SOLO ROAD TRIP ADVENTURE! | PART 2

36:02
The next stage of my solo Ireland road trip was probably the best 48 hours of my entire Ireland adventure. Watch the beginning of my Irish road trip here: https://youtu.be/wSsdT0n9Z5Y We start where we left off in the last vlog, in Killarney. The next two days have a couple ups and downs, but mostly leave me deliriously happy. Driving the Ring of Kerry and walking the Cliffs of Kerry, driving up the Wild Atlantic Way and taking the Shannon Ferry to County Clare, seeing the legendary Cliffs of Moher, descending deep underground to visit the largest stalactite in the Northern Hemisphere at Doolin Cave, listening to the best Irish music in western Ireland in Doolin village, staying at an awesome bed and breakfast...despite Ireland's mercurial weather, these two days of my weeklong solo travel were more than I ever could have hoped for. How to choose the right tires for long motorcycle trip?

06:52
Everything you need to know about the motorcycle touring tires. To buy the right tires for long motorcycle trip sounds like really difficult task. There are so many different opinions about it: street, dual sport or knobby. In this video I will talk about the most popular options and give you some very practical advices how to choose the right tires. Today we have so many different experts and sellers will try to convince you that their tires are much better than others or that will have a better traction and last longer. First and very important is to understand that there are no universal tires. Every choice is a compromise. For example, 100% street tire will work great on the asphalt, but very poor off road and absolutely useless in the mud. On the other hand knobby tires will be perfect on the motocross track, but terrible on the street. Because of that, during the years, the big companies started to produce different variations: sport, touring, adventure, dual sport or any kind of creative names to make us believe that their tires are the best. But best for one, could be the worst for another. It is very subjective and depends from many different factors: - The weight of your bike - The type roads you going to ride - Your riding style - The mileage you plan to make during your trip - The temperatures in your time schedule Each one of these factors could help your tire to last longer or destroy it faster. Let have a look to one of the most popular options: Number one – road tires or touring tires They will be maybe 90% road and 10% off road orientated. Examples are Continental road attack or Michelin Pilot. The reason of that is because they will have much larger surface are in contact with the road. The block will be much wider and the channels will be not that deep. And because of that the bike will be more stable when you ride on the high speed or when cornering for example. Because of the large surface area they provide much longer mileage. These tires are perfect for long trips in which you will stay 90% of the time on the asphalt. Ok, what the rest 10% will give you? Nothing, it is just good marketing strategy to sell the model easier and get to those small percent of possible buyers who might want to try some off road terrains. Number two – Adventure tires They will be 80% - 20%, 70%-30% or even 60%-40% road - off road orientated. Some examples are Mitas 07and Heidenau K60 scout. Here we can see a much different structure. The blocks are not that big and they have wider channels between. Also they have this large central line, which helps to have longer millage compare to some of the competitors. These tires will provide good traction on the pavement, but also decent grip when you ride off road. That basically means that you can ride on road, but also in some light off road section, like gravel, smooth dirt roads, some rocky terrains, but no mud or hard off road. You can, but it’s really depends from your riding skills and from the weight of your motorcycle. There are very good option for those who plan a long trip, but with possible off road sections. Number three – Dual sport or more aggressive tires. They are usually 50%-50% or even 40%-60% road - off road orientated. The good examples will be Continental TKC 80 or Metzeler Karroo 3. Here we can see that the blocks are smaller and the channels are wider and the centre line does not exist. Also the sharp edges here will dig into the soft ground and will hold your bike much better. The larger gap, between the blocks, will aloud the tire to self clean from the mud while you ride. Of course all of this coming with the curtain price. On the road this tires will be more flexible and a little tricky on the corners, especially when you worn it out. Another one down side is that they finish pretty quick. I really like TKC 80 and use in almost all of my trips, because they give me the confidence I need on and off road, but I have to confess that the mileage they provide is not much. You have to keep in mind that if you ride heavy dual sport bike, like GS 1200 or Super Tenere and you ride mostly highways, they will finish even quicker. These tires will be perfect solution if you plan a trip with a lot of off road mileage and you want to have a better as possible traction on it. Motorcycle Trip to Mongolia, Part 1, Germany and Poland

25:19
Motorcycle Trip to Mongolia. It was 35 days long and we did a little above 18,000km. We have crossed 7 countries: Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia, Latvia and Lithuania. We had double entry Russian and single Mongolian Visas for 30 days period. The tires we have used are two rear TKC 80 for my Tenere and only one front. On Dima's bike Kenda 270. We have no major technical problems, not even punctures. Everything went really well. About the video: This time I decided to make something different. To show you the trip as it was. No hard edition, no special effects, no music. I want to share with you everything I saw, my thoughts, feelings and comments on the road. Some days are bored, some are interesting, but this is how it was. I promise a long and detailed video with a lot of useful information for travellers with a lot of practical advices. It is not super action movie. If you need so, I am sure you will find in Youtube more then enough. Some of you will like it, some not, but this is the only way to show you what exactly a long motorcycle trip means. How long the film will be - I don't know, but I will try to upload as a minimum two series (20 min) per week. Enjoy it! Top 5 Reasons to ride Small Motorcycle on a Long Adventure trip

08:08
Why to ride Small bike on a long Adventure trip? Motorcycle touring. Most of the experience riders, will advice you that on the long trip you need to have big adventure bike, something like BMW 1200 or Yamaha Super Tenere. You will need powerful engine and enough luggage capacity. Big petrol tank is absolutely necessary and there is nothing better than driveshaft. In this video I will try to convince you that on the long motorcycle tip it’s much better to ride a small and light bike. Stay with me! N: 1 – The price of the trip. To travel the world you need a motorcycle: Big adventure bikes, like BMW 1200GS, KTM 1290 or Yamaha Super Tenere will cost you not less than 15,000 euro. When you include your gear and the hard cases you can go up to 18,000 euro. This will be just to have the bike, than will comes tyres, oils, maintenance taxes and insurance. With the big boys the costs will be 30-40 up to 50% higher than a small and cheap bike. Spending so much money will not guarantee that you will have better adventure, it’s only guarantee that you will spend much more before you even start the trip. N: 2 – The Weight The weigh always matter. If you are looking for adventure, soon or later you will leave the asphalt roads and go deep into the off road world. It’s just the matter of time to realize that the lighter you are the better chances to stay straight you have. To learn that the big and heavy engine is useless on the dirt. To find out that it’s much easier to lift 200 instead of 300 kilograms. You can make it once, twice or ten times, but you cannot do it all day round. You have to skip some parts of the road or you will need help. More you travel lighter you will become. N: 3 - Constant instead of top speed. You don’t need to be super good in the calculations to see that on the long motorcycle trip it’s much better to have a constant instead of top speed. You might disagree with me and tell me that you prefer big bike, but you will ride it slow. Really, why you need a big bike then? I have seen many guys to ride small bikes fast, but I have never seen the opposite way. When you ride fast you have to be concentrated on the ride. By doing so, you cannot really look around and enjoy the ride. You can miss important thing or information signs. You increase the chances to make an accident or to avoid somebody else mistake. Reduce the speed if you want to see the world. N: 4 – Good reason to take less luggage. With small and light bike, you probably will go to soft luggage, which is right if you ask me, and this will automatically reduce the number of the items you taking with you. You don’t need to double or triple everything. You will ride on Earth not on Mars. Leave the kitchen sink and the toilet seat at home, they are too heavy. Yes, but on the long trip you need more staff! Really! Guys, I always taking the same staff and it doesn’t matter how long is the trip, one week or one month. N: 5 - Safety. I will split this on two categories: - Personal safety. With small and light bike it’s much easy to ride in the traffic and do some not so legal manoeuvres. Easy to move it when the engine is not working. Easy to ride on and off road and lift it, if you have to. More likely to stay unhurt if you fell down and stuck under the bike. Easy to cross a river or ride on the sand, especially if you are alone. By having this easy control you are increasing the chances to finish the trip without any problems. - Bike safety. So guys, the definition of Adventure is exciting or unusual experience that usually involving some risks. You can do it with any bike. Instead of spending 20,000 euro for new and fancy bike, spend 5 or 7,000 and the rest use to travel the world. Top 5 Common Mistakes on a Long Motorcycle Trip - How to avoid them?

09:33
Long Motorcycle Trip - What we need to know? Did you plan your long motorcycle trip? Are you sure that you took the right decisions? In this video I will talks about the top 5 common mistakes most of the riders make. I will also tell you few easy tips to avoid it. So guys, it doesn’t matter how good rider you are, how many km you have, if you never been on the long trip you will make some of these mistakes. 1. Mistake N: 1 – Wrong motorcycle. It is very important to have the right bike. What that’s mean? How to choose the one for you? I will try to explain: - Don’t lessen what the people will said. Don’t trust anyone about the type of the motorcycle you should have on the long trip. If you ask ten people, you will probably receive ten different opinions and what is the funny is that they all will be right. Is that possible? Of course it is. - Only you know, how fast you ride, how many km per day you will have and where exactly you will go. So, if we follow this logic, only you can choose the right bike. What you have to do is to learn something about the area you are going. Find all possible information. Terrains, roads, elevations, weather conditions and many more. I told you this many times, but I will tell you again – the preparation is the key of success. Make your homework and you will be happy after that. - To go on long trip in Siberia “road of bones” for example with GS 1200 is not the right decision. The last thing you going to need on such a trip is a heavy bike. - On the other hand to ride on the iron boot competition (1,000miles per day on the highway) with Suzuki DR 400 will be really enthusiastic adventure. - In both cases you will make a terrible mistake. 2. Mistake N: 2 - Wrong gear choice. I have seen many riders keep making the same mistakes. To go on the long trip, with leather suit is not going to be the right choice. It will work, but not every day, not in all conditions. 3. Mistake N: 3 - Too much weight. Most of you guys take way too much. To have already have bike 200-250 kg and to load more 50 on the top it’s not something I will ever do. The weight is always matter. Specially if you have plans to ride off road. 4. Mistake N: 4 - Planed too many or to little km per day. In the first scenario you have to ride too long and you can’t really enjoy the trip. In the second you will travel too slow and will need more time. In both case the result is not going to be what you expect. The best way to learn about your possibilities is to practice. Start with simple day or two trips, they will show how to do it in the future. Once you know your riding stile will be time to open the map and do it properly. Always plan a little less then you can actually ride. 5. Mistake N: 5 - To try to ride and work at the same time. The idea is to ride all day and later in the evening to try to work on the computer or the telephone and keep the business in good order. I have tried this couple of times. Every night when we stopped my friend was relaxing, drinking beers looking around, but I have to stay online, trying to solve all existing problems, to answer all e-mails and so on. The result was a big mess, which one was very difficult to fix later. Do not even try, it is not working! If you can’t leave the business alone, don’t go on the trip or find somebody to replace you. Only then you can really enjoy the journey. I don’t feel as if you owe me anything, but if you find my videos useful, then why not? The world will be much better place if we just help, instead of hate each other! How to film a long motorcycle trip? The easy way!

09:58
How to record the whole trip without having computer with you? I have received hundreds of question how I am able to store all of these video files? Hours and hours of riding day after day, month after month… How and where I stored all of the files? Well the answer is very simple and this is what I about to tell you now. I keep all the files on the SD cards. They are small, easy to keep in my pocket and almost never fail. It might happened to have couple of video files corrupted, but it is more likely everything to be all right. And now the question: Ok, fair enough, but how many SD card I will need to record such a trip, 50, 100, 200 or more… No, actually I have the whole trip on only 17 SD cards. 14 – 32GB, 2 x 64 GB and one 128 GB, which is makes around 700GB. I shoot on 1080P and regarding to my cameras it’s around 9 min per GB, which is mean that with 700GB I would be able to record 6,300min or 105 hours. Usually I ride around 10 hours per day, so if I record everything I will need at least 6 batteries and 6 GB per hour, which is mean 60 GB per day. For two months trip I will need at least 7,000 GB! Without even include the other static videos I have recorded while I am not riding, like around the towns or meetings with friends… So after I already told you that it becomes perfectly clear that there is no way to record everything. Even if you do it, at the end you going to have a huge amount of useless files and how you going to edit it? Again instead of giving you the answers I only ask questions! I apologies for that! The trick is to record the most important moments from the trip. For example there is no point to record two hours riding on the highway, or he whole day, because it will be too boring. Ok, but how to know where are the important moments? What about if I miss something? Yes, you can miss something, like I miss the ditch in Scotland or my battery died on Rothang Pass in Ladakh. This is the situation. There is no perfect world unless you have a camera crew to take care about all of these things. What I usually do is to turn on the camera when I see something interesting, or when I ride in difficult terrains or similar situations. I turn on the camera for couple of seconds or minutes, depends from the situation. Basically what you see in my videos is what I decided to record. I always try to keep some logical way to tell you the whole story. Where I am at the moment what are the next steps, just to keep updated. If I jump from ride to cities and then ride again, you might ask: How he get there, how long was the ride, is the road good and many more? The whole idea of my videos is to show you the world the way it is. More like documentary type of movie. Not much edition, no special effects, no cinematic views… Most watched videos in my channel: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlV9_TaZp4xFrC_SSKaY0ywmB9Q0VUJTS Support my channel: http://rtw-adventures.com/support-1.html Amazon Shop (Affiliate): https://amzn.to/2OKfzd2 Try Amazon Prime for free: https://amzn.to/2L9iwBt Books: http://rtw-adventures.com/books-1.html Motorcycle Adventures merchandise: http://rtw-adventures.com/shop-1.html Smart Turn & Brake Systems. Motorcycle Trip to Ireland & Scotland - Long Riding Day - Part 1

21:51
Motorcycle Trip to Ireland & Scotland. Important: This is not super adventure or high quality travel video with incredible footage or some action scenes. This is real story, real trip. The idea behind is to see how one motorcycle trip is going and to show you some interesting places around the world. I also shared some of my thoughts and advice with the idea to help others to make their trips more easier than me. The trip was 15 days and visited the territories of Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Ireland, Scotland, England and came back to Germany. I spent a little above 7,000km and except one small accident the trip went trouble free. I saw so many amazing places and met so many great and friendly people. It was one super nice trip and I will do it again with pleasure. Detailed maps from the trip you can find here: http://rtw-adventures.com/motorcycle-trip-to-ireland-scotland-1.html Many of you asked me: what gear I use and where they can find it? I have created this Amazon shop to make it easy for you. Note: The links I am going to provide are Affiliate. An affiliate link means, that I will earn a small commission, if you decide to buy something and it doesn’t cost you any extra. This is not supposed to be a "realistic simulation" which is impossible, especially with my noob editing skills and considering the fact that EVRYONE's trip differs from one another. This video was a result of me having fun with final cut pro, so it's not meant to be taken seriously lol. This simulation is supposed to be more of a dramatization of the psilocybin experience. Please note that the visuals and eye candy of any psychedelic experience is the LEAST important and impressive aspect. It's all about the feelings and insights you experience that really matter. Top 10 Accessories you Should Have on a Long Motorcycle Trip

06:05
What you must have on a long motorcycle trip? Motorcycle touring. Hello Riders, if you still wondering what to take with you, what are the necessary items that you going to need, you came to the right place. In this video I am going to talk about the top 10 accessories you should have on a motorcycle trip. 1. Tank bag Many riders don’t have it, but for me, this is the most useful bag you can have on a trip. Inside I keep only the important things. Usually the staff which I use all the time like my GPS, camera, maps and some cables. Some of my friends said that they don’t need it, because they have top case. That’s ok, but on the long trip, especially if you have some rough terrains or off road, the top case could cause you many problems. From unexpected shakings and vibrations to bended or even broken subframe. 2. Heated grips About it I am sure that that everybody will agree with me. Once you have it will be difficult to travel without it in the future. Yes, if you live in a hot area is different story, but if you have plans to ride the world, you will definitely need it. 3. 12 V mini USB socket This small items usually cost nothing, compare to the rest of the accessories, but they are very important to keep your electronic devices working. There are thousands of models on the market, the brand or the shape it doesn’t really matter, whatever you like. I will recommend to have at least two in your luggage. They weight nothing, but it’s easy to forget or lose it. 4. Bluetooth Well, to have this device it’s such a pleasure. I never really connect my phone or lessen radio, but it’s priceless for communication with your riding friend or pylon. When you have your Bluetooth it’s like a whole new world. The only problem with these devices is that you get addicted it will be very hard to travel without after that. 5. Volt meter I highly recommend having one of these. It will give you the chance constantly to monitoring the condition of your alternator and battery. In the case of possible fails you will know it earlier and you could prevent it. 6. Thermometer When you travel with motorcycle, the weather is something very important. When you have it on your bike, you will know what clothes you need in the curtain temperature. For example under 18 degrees you need to have your warm linings. Above 25, you need to take off the long sleeves and many like that. Two degrees up or down make a huge difference in your riding comfort. 7. Pin lock This basically its anti-fog lens, attached inside of your visor. If your helmet have it great, if not you can by universal and mounted. Riding with a fogged up helmet visor can be really annoying and dangerous. You will understand it first time when you have to ride on cold days or in the rain. Get one of these and you will never regret. 8. Camel back When you ride motorcycle, your body consume double more water. It’s very important to drink enough, especially if it’s hot. Some of you will disagree and will say that simple bottle will be the same, but it’s not really like that. With camel bag you will have water all the time and this will give you possibility to drink water even while you ride. With bottle it’s different story. Sometimes, you have ride many hours without stopping, traffic, bad weather, not proper place to stop or many similar circumstances. It’s very easy to dehydrate yourself without even notice it. 9. Air compressor or pump. As you know sometimes the shit just happens. Air compressor or just simple pump could safe your ass in many situations. Always keep one with you. You don’t need to learn it the hard way. 10. Visor cleaner When you are a long ride, especially I the summer you smash a lot of flies and mosquitoes with your helmet. Theoretically you can clean your visor with anything, even with water. That’s right, but sometimes I skip it because I don’t have water at the moment. The visor cleaner has alcohol in and clean much better. It’s usually comes in small bottles and you can keep it even in your pocket. Long Motorcycle Trip - Oversize Tank or simple Petrol Can, which one is better?

09:14
Big tank or petrol can – what to choose on a long motorcycle trip? I have very interesting topic for today - oversize tank or petrol can, which one is better for a long motorcycle trip? Let’s make it clear right from the beginning, for oversize tank I will specify any tank above 20l, because it is obvious that with 10l on the motorcycle will be difficult to travel. So oversize tank or petrol can? In this video I will tell you the pros and cons of both options, stay with me! As you already know, in the last 10 years the big adventure motorcycles become very popular. GS 1200, Yamaha Super Tenere, KTM 1090, 1290, Triumph Tiger and many more…This new fashion went around the world, sprayed the message that it is almost impossible to make an adventure trip if you don’t have one of the models I just said. They went even further adding huge petrol tanks 25, 27 and even 30l to some of the models. The idea behind is that when you go to really wild and remote areas, without petrol stations around, you can have this huge 500 or 600km range and you don’t need to worry about anything. That’s right, but like many other ideas it is good only on paper, let me explain you why: First and very important, it will be very difficult today, in 2018 to find places around the world, with so many km without petrol station. Now, as usual, the resistance will attack me, no, you are not right, in Central Asia, in South America, in the African desert or Australia you can find many places like that. I was in Central Asia, 3 year ago and the longest destination without petrol station was 450km, but they were working on the new road there, which is means that there will be petrol stations. South America, I hope to go there next year, but I am sure that the reality is very similar or better. What about Africa or Australia? There are millions of people live there driving cars or ride motorcycles, do you think that they all fill their tanks once per 500 or 600km? This is unserious. What I basically trying to say is that there will be more than enough solutions to fill your tank and you don’t really need to worry about. It might be just a simple barrel and local guy, but you will find petrol. Of course the resistance never give up – what about the desert, Australian outback or somewhere in the mountains? There are no roads there, how you going to find petrol station? Guys, how many of you ride big Adventure bikes in these areas? Let’s be honest and confess that any bike above 200kg, include the luggage will be way too heavy on such a trip. How many GS 1200 Adventure owners you have meet in the desert, in the mountains or in the bush? It is absolutely nonsense! Everyone, who ever try to ride motorcycle off road, know that the weight is always matter. Did you remember the great movie Long way round, Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman, with their 300kg BMW? I am sure you do. It is a great movie, great riders, but they had large support team and could have done it much easier if they have lighter bikes, especially in Siberia and Mongolia. To make the long conversation short – on the wild and remote adventure trip, without possibility to refill your tank, you should go with as lighter as possible motorcycle. The big adventure bikes with huge 30l petrol tank are nothing more than useless piece of metal. Yukon River Canoe Adventure Trip with Kids

59:31
Two European friends and their three kids spend 11 days on a canoe trip down the Yukon River from Whitehorse to Carmacks and subsequently visit Dawson before spending some more time in and around Whitehorse on a 3-week summer vacation trip in 2017. Turn on captions for more information. The adventure was filmed with two GoPro Hero 4 action cameras, a Feiyu Tech Gimbal for GoPro was used for stabilization. Still footage was shot with various cameras, e.g. Panasonic Lumix FZ1000, drone footage shot with a DJI Mavic Pro and plenty of batteries for the time spent off the grid. Polarizing filters used on all equipment. Authoring into one piece with Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 14 (and beta versions) in about two months ... How to plan a motorcycle trip? 10 Practical Tips!

11:24
10 Tips to plan long motorcycle trip. (Must Watch) 1. Free time. It is obvious that without free time you cannot go anywhere, why I even say that? Because guys the free time you have will tell you where you can go. For example, if you live in West Europe and have only two weeks holiday it will be impossible to ride to Mongolia and back. You can, but you have to ship the bike. If you plan to ride it – no! It will be about 15,000km al together. When you divide it to 14 days it’s more than a 1,000 per day. 2. The right destination. Where you really want to go? What is the part of the world you want to see? Do not imitate, you are unique person, make your unique trip. Good for one it doesn’t mean that it will be good for you as well! Everybody is different! 3. Do not book in advance. Well again, it’s really depends from the trip. For example in some destinations like Genua or some other busy sea ports in Europe you really need to book your ferry in advance, but in most of the cases it is not going to be necessary and could be useless, because with motorcycle you never know when and where you will finish the day. 4. Paper map – make the route on the map. Again about the paper map – I really love them, don’t you think? When I plan my trips I always make the route on the map. There are 3 very good reasons to do it: - First is to see where I have to ride and to try to remember it in the case I lose it. - The second is to be able to calculate the km and hours per day. - Third is to see what is around and what else I can visit until I am there. All of this information will help you to make some changes and plan your route more efficient. 5. Money. It is really depends from your personal preferences. You can make it very cheap or travel like Arabian sheikh. 6. Plan days off. This is so important! Plan at least one day off per week, otherwise you will be so exhausted and you cannot really enjoy the trip. In some nice and interesting cities one day is not going to be enough. For example in Samarkand, Uzbekistan was so interesting, there were so many things to see that we stayed two days. Do not forget to include that in your overall mileage calculation. 7. Pack the right gear. Again make the research before the trip. Do not take the things you might or never use. For example you are not going to need your warm under layers or many clothes in Africa, because it will be hot, but definitely will when you ride into the north. Rain gear is not necessary in the desert, but it is very important in Ireland for example. The same with everything, jacket, pants, tent and many more. All of this will help you to reduce the weight and as you already know the weight is always matter. 8. Chose a proper bike. For long highway trips a big, powerful and heavy bike is going to be great, but on bad or dirt roads it will be a big challenge. We all know that, but when the trip is mixed, highways and dirt roads, what to do? I will suggest or at least this is what I will do is to prepare the bike for the hardest part of the trip. For example if you have 10,000km trip, but only 1,000km are dirt roads, choose and prepare the bike and the luggage for this 1,000km. It will be ok to ride 9,000km with light bike, but it could be very hard to have 1,000 dirt roads with heavy bike 9. Back up options. Always be ready with some back up options. Even if you never need it, it will give you some piece of mind and help you to feel much better. This is how our brains work- no exceptions! 10. Sort you things at home. Family, relations, kids, friends, job. Dot it before you go. Do not even think that you can handle it from a distance! It will be very difficult and almost impossible and definitely will ruin your trip. Many of you asked me: what gear I use and where they can find it? How to pack for a Long Motorcycle trip? What to take?

07:01
Long motorcycle trip - what you really need? How to pack it, when you are going to a long motorcycle trip? The key word here is long. We all know how to pack when we talk about one week trip, but when you plan to ride for more than a month, the situations is different, really, I am not sure and I try to convince you that you need exactly the same. I already told you in one of the previous videos, the weight matter. The last think you would like to have on a long motorcycle trip is heavy bike. Every person is different and everybody have different priorities. I am not going to change you, but I will tell you what I do. When I pack, I always make very simple list: Camping gear: - tent - mattress - sleeping back - pillow - towels - cooking staff - other, like tooth paste, brush and so on Riding gear: - helmet - jacket - pants - boots - gloves x 2 - shirts x 3 Other clothes: - walking shoos - pants - under ware, pants, socks - thongs Tools: - basic tools - tire set - spare parts Camera equipment: - cameras - charges and cables Medical kit And that is basically everything. When you follow the list, it’s almost impossible to forget important things. Believe me is more than enough. What we need and what we must to have are two different things. Even if you load your bike with 50 extra, you will always need more. My advice is: Pack as light is possible, you will be amazed, how easy the life is going. The best way to prepare your body for a Long Motorcycle Trip - Real, Proven Advice

06:52
How to prepare yourself for long ride? - Top Secret Advice! It is obvious that you will need to prepare yourself, especially your body, no doubt, but what is the best way to do it? Let see the options: N: 1 - Running Running is a great way to get back on shape, to lose some weight and maybe fix your high cholesterol or blood pressure problems. Ancient Greeks said: If you are sick run to cure yourself, if you are in good health run to avoid sickness. When you are nervous run, to prevent depression run, to lose weight run, to get some strength run…actually for every problem you might have or to prevent every future problems they recommend running. That’s ok, but is it going to help you on long trips? I don’t think so. N: 2 Cycling Some riders will advice you that to prepare your body, especially your ass, you have to ride your bicycle as more as possible. The main argument is that because both have seats, it will help you to prepare your ass for the long riding days. I cannot agree with that statement. Motorcycle and bicycle seat are absolutely different. The position you have on the bicycle and motorcycle are also different. When you ride your bicycle you move all the time, because you have to pedalling, on the motorcycle you stay still. The points where your ass touching the seat are totally different. Yes, to improve your overall health the cycling is great, but do not expect to help you on the long trips. N: 3 – Fitness Going to the gym will make you strong and you can survive to ride 12-14 hours per day without any problem. Yes, it definitely will make you strong, but how much of that power you will need when you ride your motorcycle? If you are totally exhausted after few hours ride it’s not because you don’t have enough muscles, it is because you don’t have a proper riding technique. Fitness is not going to help you on the long trips. In fact, I know some really great riders who never been in the gym. One of my friends even told me that if we need to run we had to be born horses! Biman Bangladesh B777-300/ER London to Dhaka (Trip Report Part 1)

20:18
Follow me on a colourful journey from London to Bangladesh on-board Biman Bangladesh Airlines B777-300/ER. This is their flagship route from London to Dhaka with an immediate stop in Sylhet. During this trip report video, I will show you both Business Class and Economy Class service and seating. Watch out of many fun Interactions with many Bangladeshi passengers and crew! This is the first part of 2 mega vlogs. Stay tuned for the next episode where I was given a tour at Biman Catering Center and hangar. I took 4 lucky winners and first time flyers to fly Biman Boeing 787 Dreamliner. -- From one bustling metropolis to another by air – immerse yourself in an exhilarating flight from London to Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, on board the Boeing 777-300ER with the national flag carrier of Bangladesh, Biman Bangladesh Airlines. We go via the Bangladeshi city of Sylhet, making use of Osmani International Airport, the third largest airport in Bangladesh after those in the cities of Dhaka and Chittagong. Our flight is delayed in taking off by a few hours but that gives us all the more time to experience the executive Plaza premium lounge! On board, we examine the economy and business classes of Biman and enjoy the personal and delicate hospitality provided by Biman Airlines air crew. Due to the currently closed Pakistani air-space, this flight took a few hours longer than normal but this delay also works to our advantage, giving us more time to savour the famous and exquisite Biman Air curry and enjoy a well earned nap as we look at the sleeping arrangements on board Biman. Whilst Biman operates internal flights between Sylhet and Dhaka which arrive from major international destinations such as London and Abu Dhabi, interestingly it is currently impossible to take a direct flight from Sylhet to an international destination; one must go through Dhaka first. This apparent contradiction is caused by the runways at Osmani International not being adapted for heavier aeroplanes to take off from and is set to be rectified within two years in a 63 million US dollar upgrade project. Biman comes from humble roots, having been founded in 1972 as a government owned entity and initially only operating internal flights between Dhaka, Chittagong, Jessore and Sylhet using a single Douglas DC-3 aeroplane borrowed from India. It enjoyed a monopoly on air travel within Bangladesh until the dawn of competition in 1996 and was privatised in 2007. Since then, it has signed deals with Boeing for several new aircraft, including the Boeing 777 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and has greatly increased the scope and quality of its on board amenities, investing heavily to bring internet, telephone and television services on board its new Boeing aeroplanes.

Top 5 Things You Should Never do on a Long Motorcycle Trip!

09:10
Learn from other riders Mistakes! Motorcycle Touring Mistakes. Some people never learn from other riders mistakes, but I will be positive as usual and I really hope that you will listen with open minds. I don’t have any goals to correct you, teach you or change you I just want to help you. N: 1 – Never ride fast. I said this so many times, but I will do it again. I don’t know why everybody wants to have these big, fast and powerful bikes, 100, 120, 150 h.p. On a long motorcycle trip you need constant not top speed. It is much better to be very strict instead of fast rider. If you ride with 100km/h and stopping once per 2 hours, you will cover more km for short period of time than if you ride with 140km/h and stop every hour. Yes, of course if you travel with 140 and stop once per two hours you will be fast, but how many of you are able to do this day after day without risking to have speed tickets, to make accident or a navigation mistake. You can make it on the German highways, because there are no speed limits, but to be honest this is the last place I want to go when I travel with my motorcycle. N: 2 – Never ride with top case. I am sure that many riders will attack me now, because they love their top cases, but as usual I will try to convince you to leave it home The top cases are great to ride in the City, to store all of your stuff, even the helmet in, but on the long trip they are pain the ass. After many riding days you will need to change some bolts on it, to fix the broken holder or subframe. If you plan off road section it’s almost guaranteed that you will break it or lose at all. N: 3 - Never load spare tires with you. They are too big and too heavy. In the best scenario they will weights about 10kg. If you have big adventure bike maybe more. Because if the shape they have you need to put it on the top of your bags, or on both sides of your hard cases or saddle bags. In both cases you will have difficult access to the stuff on it and every time when you need something you have to remove it. Also, as I said they are too heavy and you need to tight them really well, but because of the weight they will move all the time and you need to stop and re tight it again and again N: 4 – Never rely only on your smart phone GPS. Smart phones are great and we love it. In this small device you can upload 3-4 different options, like google maps, Here, City go and so on. They are much easier to use than the standard GPS or paper maps. That’s right, they are, but when they work. The batteries of the smart phones died very quick. The power from the outlets helps, but not always. Sometimes, when you use the GPS internet and phone at the same time, the 12V charger cannot really recover the battery. Maybe keep it in some level, but not fully charged. On the sunny days visibility is not good, which makes the riding more difficult. Another good reason is that the smart phones overheat pretty quickly, usually when you really need it. You can have it as a backup option, but never rely only on it. The simple, cheap GPS will work ten times better than your fancy and expensive smart phone N: 5 – Never go with loud open exhaust. It might sound cool when you ride around your neighbourhood, but you will definitely regret on the long trip. When you have to spend many days with all of that sound you will come to the conclusion which I just gave you and it’s not only for you, it will be the same for the riders behind you. Make sure that it has at least DB killer and Euro stamp on it. In many counties, especially in Europe, police might stop you, charge you some money and even not let you to ride your bike with this exhaust. A Trip to the South Pole for FLAT EARTH Believers

03:09
All flat earthers say you can't travel to the South Pole - WRONG! This company that created this video, Adventure Network International, does it every year and they are doing it right now in December (since it is spring at the South Pole right now). The people at the south pole in this video are not saying anything about seeing Ice reaching into space or having any difficulty getting in or that the ice is holding the ocean from running over the edge of the flat earth. Flat earthers are trying to act authoritative by saying you can't go in, UN won't let you in, there are weapons lining the shores keeping us out and so forth. Bullshit! Here is a list of tourist agencies going to Antarctica https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=antarctica+tours Here is the link to this company that offer this special flight to the South Pole http://www.adventure-network.com/experiences/south-pole-flights
