So we'll click on I just googled Merchant Center click on that click sign up from here select our country and put United States because that's where I'll locate it out of asana yoga pants' website URL is going to be awesome new yoga pants' calm on me go ahead and copy that put it in here put your name I'm gonna unclick all this kind of stuff at a different contact for no we don't need all that just go ahead and click that click yes continue you're going to have to basically claim your URL and the problem was I thought I could do it through Google Analytics you cannot you have to do this HTML file upload and to do that basically you download this file and Shopify you're going to go to your settings files upload it there. So just click upload it'll give you this little URL take that URL and then go to online store navigation and then you our URL redirects you're going to add a URL redirect paste that in there oops paste paste this part in here from from this and then the long thing that we had in that last slide you paste it in here add your URL redirect I already did it I actually did it for a different different which Michalek account. You can see it there. So the next step after this is actually getting your product feet and you can see feeds here right now we don't have any feed. So let me show you how to do that. So to do that you're going to go back here we're going to go down to apps and depending on what platform you want you're on it's at this stage Shopify is a little bit different than a lot of the other ones let's go ahead and visit Shopify app store search I believe it's called the Google shopping up oops the Google Shopping app will click on this click get stall app at which point you're going to click sign into your Google account let's go ahead I went ahead and signed in and then just click allow then you're going to get the number. So let's say the account ID number is right up here I'll go to type it in one one zero eight three three zero five four copy that put it in here confirm your account we're going to go to settings website verification I believe that's already done I already showed you how to do that Google Analytics is easy way easiest way if you don't have an account setup unit or with instructions here. I'm going to click test your domain the next step is after you've got that I had to fix something with my domain settings but it's pretty easy to fix next follow these instructions basically and this is going to be creating the shipping method and I'll go ahead and do this. So we're going to click plus shipping method I'm going to call this free shipping because in my store everything's going to be free shipping you'll want to match whatever let's say the transit time is two to five days and zero dollars go ahead and click Save test shipping rates alright it took a second to update. So choose a collection I'm going to call it homepage or I could just do all products maybe I'll do all products just make it easier and then click publish. So now the products are being published to Google. So this might happen to you. So I'll show you really quick I I was stopped because I had some errors. So let's see what the errors are and it's probably going to be if you haven't done this before the error is in setting up the product category. So the Google and the GTIN is missing but start with the product category. So let's say work out clothing. So we have a few different ones here we have clothing apparel and accessories like active wear. So this is we're probably going to be around here clothing active wear.

Let’s get started! 00:18 Shopping campaigns are a great way to promote your products through shopping ads. These ads are a format that includes an image, title, price, your business name, and more! 00:28 At this point you should have your Merchant Center account created, but if you still need to do that, check out this video to learn how. 00:36 To get started creating your Shopping Campaign, sign in to your AdWords account at adwords.google.com. Click the Campaigns tab. Then, click + Campaign and select Shopping. On the “Select campaign settings” page, give your campaign a name. 00:54 Provide a merchant identifier by clicking the Select account drop-down menu and choosing the Merchant ID. The ID should be the Google Merchant Center account associated with the products being advertised in this Shopping campaign. 01:08 From the drop-down menu next to “Country of Sale” select the country where the products in this campaign are sold. Next to “Locations,” choose the geographical areas where you want the Product Listing Ads in this campaign to appear. 00: 22 By default, Shopping campaigns show ads on the Google Search Network and on Google search partner websites. You can deselect the “Include search partners” check box if you don’t want to include them in your campaign. Click “Save and Continue.” 01:37 You’ll now be prompted to create an Ad Group, within that you’ll have one product group. There are different ways to set up your Shopping campaigns, but we’re going to take you through the easiest, and simplest option: One product group, and one single bid for all products. 01:52 Next, give your Ad Group a name. Enter promotional text for your ad, if you’d like to. This promotional text can appear with any of the products associated with this ad group, so make sure the text is relevant to all the products that you'll be advertising in that ad group. It uses eight trigrams to understand the stages of life. In this episode we’ll interpret the trigrams to understand your 4 types website visitors. Each Trigram is comprised of Yin and Yang. Yin is passive or emptiness, and Yang is active or fullness. In our example, we will treat Yin as indifference to, and Yang as excitement of, a product’s benefits. Each trigram also has three stages. We will view them as Past, Present, and Future. Trigrams are made up of 1 of 4 forms of the Yin and Yang. These four forms also make up the four types of website visitors. The Major Yang, which are your “Yes” visitors The Major Yin, which are your “No” visitors The Minor Yin, which are your “Maybe No” visitors The Minor Yang, which are your “Maybe Yes” visitors In the Major Yang, the customer in the past has known about the benefits of the product, and also presently acknowledges the benefits while on your website. Products that solve Real problems have many “Yes” visitors. The product has great market fit, and merchants don’t need to rely on conversion tactics. A visitor’s natural action is to click “add to cart” and most likely complete their purchase. In the Major Yin, visitors didn’t care, and still don’t. This visitor is a “No” customer, and trying to convince them to purchase will be difficult. Conversion tactics won’t help. Their natural action is to close the window. The product simply doesn’t solve a big enough problem for them. Stores that drive lots of traffic but have very low sales numbers fall here and Merchants should try to find a new product niche, or connect with Coach (link in the description) to learn more. In the Minor Yin, the customer in the past acknowledged the product value, but maybe isn’t quite sure at the moment. These “Maybe No” visitors are attracted to your product and might take a positive action, but are likely to abandon their checkout because of concerns. Re-targeting apps can help but I’d also recommend a “call back request” app like Raven. A button like a “call back request” is important here because, it gives a “Maybe” customer a Positive Alternative Option rather than to close the window. Finally, in the Minor Yang, the visitor wasn’t aware of the product or benefits, but recently sees the value. These visitors make up the “Maybe Yes” category. They’re looking for more reasons to buy, but because it feels new to them they have natural questions. The Raven and Scout apps can help convert sales by identifying these kinds of customers. What’s important here is these visitors have the potential to become great customers if provided with an awesome post-sale experience... like a free surprise pizza. So to recap: being aware of the four types of visitors helps identify product-market fit. And helping and educating the “Maybe No” and “Maybe Yes” visitors is the first step in growing sales.
