Researchers found a ratio of 7:10 to be the most favorable since men like a small waist but with child-bearing hips. 7. Having a high pitched voice. Men enjoy a nice high pitched voice since it USUALLY indicates a smaller, younger body. This is because women are more fertile when they are younger (ages between 20 to 31) and that excites would-be mates. 6. Healthy hair. What men like most about women is their hair. They like healthy, long, full and shiny hair because it shows that they are youthful and therefore fertile. 5. Makeup. The study also showed that men prefer women who wore less makeup. The researchers found that men prefer women wear about 40 percent less makeup than what they originally wore. 4. Smile. This is pretty straightforward, many people prefer a mate with a nice, bright, sparkling smile. Additionally, the researchers found that the whiter the teeth, the more attractive the person. 3. Wearing red. Red has long been shown to stimulate the senses and also to enhance attraction. Some studies have even found that the color red acts as a form of aphrodisiac. 2. Arms. The study found that men like women with long arms. The researchers revealed that men preferred women with longer and more slender arms but with a wide girth. 1. Hygiene. And finally hygiene. Like all people, overall grooming and cleanliness play a huge role. They're one of the most important muscle groups found in your body without them you wouldn't be able to walk run or jump and you would also have a serious case of flat pancake butt. Nobody wants see a flat butt not guys and not girls so in today's video I'm going to do all the peach loving people of the world a big favor and give you guys the 5 best exercises for a nice looking butt. And if you've been doing your squats and you've been trying your absolute best but your glutes just don't seem to grow give this video chance because I'm going to dive into specific methods you can use to Target your glutes to build a nicer butt so you can fill up those jeans in no time. Let's start with the very first one that everyone knows about and that's barbell squats. But we're not just doing regular barbell squats the best types of squats to work your glutes are deep barbell squats. Getting down nice and low during squats is the secret to building nicer glutes. A lot of people are afraid of going low during squats because of the many myths that exist about how low you're allowed to go. The truth is that as long as you don't have any previous injuries to your knees and your form is correct you can go almost all the way to the ground. This is actually something that trainers call ass to the grass squats. And going nice and low for your squats is a very natural movement for your body. I always bring up this example but before we had toilets we would take a squat every single day and that squat was naturally a deep squat. This is why deep squats are a very natural movement that our bodies have had plenty of time throughout history to adapt to. The problem is if you're not used to squatting a deep squat feels like anything but natural. So it's important that you learn the right way to do it and if you're not used to squatting the best way to start is 2 put a seat or a platform behind you and simply stand facing a mirror and sit down and get back up sit down and get back up. Most people perform a very good squat when they're sitting down but if you tell that same person to squat without a platform behind them they'll start messing it up. After you feel comfortable enough you can get rid of the seat or platform and try to perform regular squats. You would do this by keeping your chest out towards the mirror turning your hips out too kind of exaggerated The Arc in your back leaning back on your heels so take all the pressure off of your toes as you squat keep the pressure on your heels and then just sit back while trying to keep your knees from crossing too far over your toes. Once you're comfortable doing that you can try to put a really short platform on the ground and try to squat down and tap that platform with every rep. Now after you feel like your form is on point you can add the barbell into the movement and you can start incrementally increasing the weight. Remember the key points are to squat low stick your chest out and stick your butt out and stay on your heels as you come down for your squats. Let's move on to the second exercise step-ups but once again we're not doing regular step-ups because regular step-ups don't Target your glutes anywhere near as much as the way that I'm about to show you. You see normally when people are doing step-ups they're actually working their back calf a lot more than they think. Sure they're still going to work their quad and their hamstring a little on that front leg to get up on top of the platform they're stepping up on. However that back calf is taking the pressure off of the glute on the other leg. And this happens because most people will kickoff for every rep when doing this exercise. So to turn this into an exercise that improves your butt I want you to point the toes of your back foot up towards the ceiling the whole time. By pointing your toes towards the ceiling it makes it impossible for you to kick off. So this puts all the stress and work that's required to get your body up that platform on that front leg and that bottom portion of going up without kicking off is going to Target the glutes big time. The one thing that you should keep in mind is since you're not kicking off you will probably have to use less weight than what you were doing if you were to just do regular step-ups. 🔥 FREE 6 Week Body Transformation Challenge: http://bit.ly/lose-fat42

5 Red Flags for Weak Glutes (FIX THIS!)

The irony is, the muscles of the hips and glutes are designed to be the strongest in the entire body. Given their location around the pelvis and their influence on the center of mass and spine, they are designed to be incredibly strong and capable of providing stability in all three planes of motion. As you’ll see in this video however, many of us are walking around with very weak glutes and I’m going to show you how to figure this out quickly. There are five tests that you can easily perform to determine the status of your glutes. The first is the simple quadruped kneeling leg extension test. Here you want to get on all fours and straighten one leg out behind you. Make sure the knee is straight and that your hips are squared up to the ground. From here, attempt to squeeze your glutes on one side and lift that leg up towards the ceiling. Do you feel an intense contraction in the glute muscles? If so, that would be a good sign that you have the ability to activate your glutes. That is not enough however. From here, you now need to bend the knee to further shorten the hamstring and put more of the emphasis on the gluteal muscles to perform the same activity of lifting the leg towards the ceiling. Squeeze again and see if you are able to reproduce the same discomfort. If not, that is your first red flag. Be sure to test on both sides as imbalances are common between the right and left legs. Next you want to perform the bridge test. Lay on your back and press your heels into the ground with a bent knee position. Lift your hips as high as you can. If you already start to feel some cramping in your hamstrings on either side this would be an early red flag that you are dealing with weak glutes. If not, then proceed to lift one leg in the air and see if you can hold your trunk and pelvis up throughout the test without sagging. Once again, if you feel cramping here or if the pelvis is unable to be kept lifted then you will need to address the weakness in your glutes. The third test is the lunge test. Here you want to see what the strength of your glute medius is in the frontal plane. Take whatever weight you would normally use for a set of 12 to 15 reps of dumbbell lunges and then combine that weight into one hand. So if you used 25lbs for example in each hand, you would hold a single 50 pound dumbbell in one hand for this test. Lunge out with the leg that is opposite the hand holding the dumbbell and try and maintain an upright torso without fallling towards or leaning to the weighted side. If you can’t, then you have a major red flag for glute medius weakness. The fourth test is actually more of a detection of a symptom. Do you have low back pain that is pin point located just to the right of the bony prominence on your pelvis called the PSIS. If so, this could be coming once again from weakness of the glute medius muscle. I show you how the lack of glute activation is a tell tale sign in the poor performance of the exercise and if you can’t activate them to improve the way you do this movement then you definitely should be alerted to the red flag pointing to the weakness. As you can see, the glutes are a major and important muscle group in the body that cannot be overlooked regardless of whether you are a high performing athlete or an average joe dealing with the repercussions of having weakness in this area. There are those that claim that there are no body types and that everything is measured by hard work at the gym and in the kitchen and having been a trainer for over 10 years I can tell you and that's complete nonsense. And this is proven by science it is true that nobody should be obese however everybody does have their own weight set point people store fat in different places some people store more fat in their stomach area, other people store it more in their thighs, in the chest, and we also have different shapes to our muscle bellies, different lengths different thicknesses, different lagging muscle groups. The point is people really do come in all different shapes and sizes again this doesn't mean that you should be obese but it does mean that we can identify the shape or size that you're at by certain characteristics & apply certain training principles that have proven over time to work to move you towards your desired body shape. Okay so let's start with the test the way that this test works is I'm going to ask you a series of questions & your going to answer a b or c & either write down your answer or remember it because the letter that you answer with most often will help you identify what your body type is by the end of this test. Its a simple test & I'm sure you'll be surprised with the results. First question, do fitted jeans generally feel a. snug, but not too tight around your butt b. loose around your butt or c. tight around your butt. Pick the description that best fits your body Second question, if you wrap your hand around your wrist does your middle finger & your thumb a. just barely touch b. overlap or c. they don't touch. Next question would you characterize yourself as having a. a natural v shaped body b. a naturally very lean skinny long frame, or c. a naturally wide heavy frame. The fourth question requires a measuring tape so if you want to come back to it & leave it blank you can, but I highly recommend you do this one because it's very accurate. Is your chest measurement a. between 37 & 44 inches b. under 37 inches or c. greater than 44 inches? When you get to a measuring tape seriously do this one. The fifth question is how would you rate your metabolism a. fast, but you don't have a problem building muscle, b. so fast that it makes it difficult to put on muscle, or c. slow. Next question In relation to gaining weight its a. easy to gain muscle, but you don't typically gain too much fat. You may even see some ab definition while bukling b. you have trouble gaining muscle & gaining fat, in fact if you finally do gain a couple pounds your body fights to return you to your normal weight or are you more of a c. where its easy for you to put on muscle, but its also very easy for you to store fat especially around your midsection & love handles. Question number seven does your upper body resemble an a. upside down triangle, b. a rectangle that's vertically long & horizontally narrow or c. a square or round shape.two more questions. do you have an a. narrow rib cage thinner than your wider collar bones b. a narrow rib cage as narrow as your narrow collar bones & your narrow hips or c. a thick blocky rib cage as thick as your collar bones & your thick hips. And last question which body type do you look like in the mirror. a.b.or cIf you've answered a. to the majority of the questions you are at the mesomorph stage right now meaning you have a v-taper appearance. If you answered b to the majority of the questions then you are an ectomorph with more of a narrow lanky body, & if you answered c then you are an endomorph with wider thicker body. Now before I go any further I want to say that you are not stuck in your body type. That kind of thinking leads to people giving up & not working as hard at making the necessary changes to change your body type. And then it becomes a self fufilling prophecy. I don't care if you're the hardest gainer in the world, you can eat enough & drink enough soda if that's what it takes to spike your insulin to have you gain some weight. You may always struggle with building more muscle mass

Women swing their hips when they walk because of some key differences in female anatomy. The pelvic bone in women is wider and shorter than in men. This is because the female pelvis contains main reproductive organs such as the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. During pregnancy, the uterus enlarges due to the growing fetus. The extra width is also required during childbirth so that the baby is able to exit through the birth canal. In this video, I share with you a three phase plan for losing fat in the abdomen, love handles or waistline area, and the chest. These spots are where most men carry their fat and are the last to lose it when dieting or trying to cut down. The reason for this is actually based on our genetics, but it doesn’t mean that we cannot do something about it. Before we get started however, here is a list of the videos that I referenced in the video for you to watch: How to Stretch Your Chest - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SV7l1sfEmO0 The 7 Minute Ab Workout - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jyhJ6TiUPA Lose the Love Handles - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWjf2io_b6E The first thing you have to realize is that all three of these areas share the common problem in that they look bad mostly because of the abundance of body fat. You may even have developed muscles underneath, but as long as the fat is present you will never get a chance to see what it looks like. This means that your priority has to be on cleaning up your nutrition. If you refuse to eat better, no matter what else you do, you will never look better. Early on however, you don’t have to get too specific with your eating. Simply make a pass through your diet and get rid of the obvious garbage that you know is not helping your cause. Sweets, excessive alcohol, sugars, etc can all be removed and replaced with more nutritious foods. You don’t have to necessarily worry about your macros at this point but just getting rid of the junk food and liquid calories. Realizing that it will take some time to see the results of these changes however, you should start chipping away at the trouble spots in another way. For the abdomen, you want to first ensure that you can properly activate the muscles in the rectus and transverse abdominis. Most find this difficult and even when they do perform ab exercises they get frustrated at not being able to feel them. Next, you want to start adding in ab training but mostly in the form of rotational ab exercises. Instead of trying to do crunches and having the fat get in the way of the movement, you can work your abs without having to crunch. Finally, you want to incorporate moves for your entire core, such as with the 7 minute ab workout included above. When it comes to the love handles, you want to start by working the lats. Here especially, you want to focus on full contractions and range of motion to ensure proper development of the muscles that actually insert onto the top of the pelvis near your waistline. The more you can build these muscles the greater the visual differential between your waist and your shoulders and the better the v taper. Next add in direct ab work and finish up with direct oblique training for the best look as your diet gets dialed in. Finally, for the chest you want to stretch it and strengthen the muscles of the rotator cuff to posturally improve the visual appearance of your chest. From here, work the serratus anterior. This will give your chest more natural underlying support will helping to visually chisel out the area underneath. Finally, you want to make sure that as your body fat levels decrease and fat loss continues that you are working your chest in all three heads. Use the angles of the band work as an example of how to hit the upper, lower and middle chest. How to Lose Fat the Right Way (MEN VS WOMEN!)

When it comes to how to lose fat, there are some differences between men and women, and it goes beyond the simps differences in how we store it. In this video we look at how to lose fat, the right way, for men VS women. As you probably already know, men and women have different trouble spots when it comes to where they store fat. We’ll not only look at how men and women differ in terms of fat storage but we’ll also uncover several strategies that address the challenges that each face in their pursuit of fat loss. For men, trouble spots tend to be in the chest. Chest fat, or man boobs start to develop when men are carrying too much body fat. The waist line or Love Handles is another trouble spot. Perhaps the most notable trouble spot is in the mid section or beer belly. Even in examples of significant leanness men will store fat deposits in very specific areas of their mid section such as their lower abdominals and lower back. For women, the fat loss trouble differ. Fat deposits on the backs of the arms creating’bat wings’. Women also experience more fat storage in their lower bodies; hips, thighs and calves. You’ve probably heard the terms saddlebags, cankles or muffin top to describe these trouble spot. This is evident in women who appear to be skinny or skinny fat, you’ll see that the areas mentioned above often show signs of extra fat deposited. Many of the differences in where fat is stored come down to hormones, specifically Testosterone and Estrogen. Men and women don’t only have different trouble spots however, they also have different types of fat storage as well. Testosterone often creates more visceral fat. That is, fat stored behind the muscle sounding the organs. Classic examples of this type of fat are men that have a rock hard protruding beer gut. This is caused by the fat actually pushing out against the layer of abdominal muscle. Since visceral fat surrounds the vital organs, this type of fat is more dangerous. Typically we see higher cases of heart disease in men often caused by their increased storage of visceral fat. Women on the other hand have more subcutaneous fat. Subcutaneous fat is often driven by the binding of estrogen. While this type of fat is less dangerous than visceral fat it can still be troublesome and if you have it, you likely want it gone! When it comes to strategies for losing fat the recommendation for women is to focus on exercises, specifically strength training over steady state cardio. Strength training will allow women to add muscle to their frames which is not only anabolic in itself, but will also help increase their existing levels of testosterone which will also help aid in fat loss. For men, the focus should almost always be on nutrition. Since men have larger amounts of testosterone already, and likely carry more muscle mass as a result, they will generally want to focus on getting their eating in check. This will help lower their body fat especially when done in conjunction with a smart exercise program. In addition to the tips above regarding fat loss through proper nutrition and exercise, you can also try incorporating some of mother natures secret ingredients. Foods like Oysters for additional Zinc, Red Grapes for Resveratrol, cruciferous vegetables for their high levels of phytochemicals. Other excellent foods to incorporate are mushrooms and fresh ginger. As I always say on this channel, there is no shortcut to getting the results you want but with a scientific approach to nutrition and training you can achieve your fitness goals. How to Fix “Low Back” Pain (INSTANTLY!)

The irony is, a lot of times what we feel is rooted in the lower back is actually caused by muscles not in the back at all. In this video, I’m going to show you how the glute medius could be the real cause of your back pain and a quick exercise you can do to relieve your discomfort instantly. Once gone, I’m also going to show you a few additional exercises you can do to make sure your low back pain never returns. The gluteus medius is sandwiched between the glute maximus and minimus and lies in and around the hip area. The role of the muscle is to abduct your hip or lift your leg out to the side in either standing or side lying and to keep your pelvis level whenever you take a step. Prolonged sitting during the day as well as an unequal weight distribution when standing are two of the most common reasons for this muscle to get weak and imbalanced. You can quickly test to see if you have the makings of a weak glute medius by standing with your feet shoulder width apart and lifting one foot off the ground. First take note whether or not your opposite hip drops significantly. If it does, this would indicate a glute weakness on that side. You would repeat with the opposite foot as well. When you do this you would also want to see if you had to dramatically shift your weight to one side just to lift that foot off the ground. If you do, this would indicate that you have an unequal weight distribution when standing and it would be especially troublesome when squatting. To fix this quickly, you will want to lay down on the ground with your affected side on top. If your right lower back was bothering you then you would want to lie on your left hip. From here, take your thumb and place it on the area most sore. You should feel that this is going to happen just to the outside of the bony prominence of your pelvis. From here, push to hold back the trigger point and start flossing your leg down and in front of you and then back and up. Your hip should be extended and then lifted into abduction towards the ceiling (being sure to point the toes down to keep the glute medius in focus). Do this about 10 times until you feel the tension in the muscle release. Now, you can burn out the spasm in the trigger point by getting into the fully contracted position of the glute medius muscle and holding as long as you can. Generally, because this muscle is often very weak, this may not be any longer than 30 seconds to a minute. Once you cannot hold it any more you will stand up and you should notice an immediate relief of the pain on that side. This is the quick but not permanent fix for this problem. Since the underlying cause is weakness in the gluteus medius muscle you will want to back this up with some exercises for your low back that you can do a few times a week. I show you three options for this. The first is the hip bump against the wall. The second is called the sack swinger, and can be done with a dog leash if you don’t have a formal dip belt. The last is actually doing the same movement that you did for the treatment, but this time as a strengthening exercise for your low back. Whatever you do, just be sure you are consistent. You will also see that as you relieve the tension in this muscle that your squat performance improves as well. Your depth should be increased and any low back pain that you felt by doing the exercise should be gone since you will now be able to do them with equal force through each leg.
